Boat Project
Had to replace the old stereo on the boat. Great price for the stereo and speakers combo!

Good value for a marine grade head unit
The mounting cage didnt want to lock until i bent the lock tabs to get more pressure on them and still had to push them into position but easy to install and setup besides that. Definitely an upgrade in quality over the older unit this replaced, fits well, has a remote, adjustable eq settings, and sounds pretty good connected to an external amplifier.

Good product for the price
For the most part this seemed very self explanatory as to getting the deck hooked up. I've done this before so it came somewhat natural to me without following directions much. My boat had already had a current deck with a wiring harness. Luckily it had all the cables still labeled so I snipped the harness from the old deck end, and spliced it into the new harness that came with the stereo deck. There was one new block that had a blue, black, yellow, and red wire. The black was ground, red said battery power, and yellow said ACC. I believe the blue was antenna. My harness didn't have the yellow wired into it's connector block. I had to contact support as I tried direct power to the red and then yellow individually, which didn't work. Support said to try and splice the red and yellow together. Since the boats main connection block did have a pin in the yellow spot, I spliced a new wire/female pin into the wiring harness and wired the yellow to the new harness for the stereo. After doing so it worked. It appears that the yellow and red need to both have power supplied to them so that the deck works. You may want to consider a new wiring harness for your specific boat/vehicle to splice into the harness that Pyle supplies. Trying wire in new pins into a block takes extra tools and hardware that many people probably don't have on hand. Your harness may already have this in place. Hope this helps anyone else that may have troubles with powering up your new stereo.

Do Not Buy!
Terrible customer service unit came dead. Power to the unit works fine, but unit will not power up. No blown fuses hooked up old stereo and works fine. Have tried to contact customer service multiple times with no response and of course outside of Amazon return time.To not buy!

Great power and looks amazing!
Got this for my van for some more and easy power to my 4 van speakers. 75w x 4 at max settings is a lot and could even power better speakers. Mine a rated at 75w max RMS. Can barely turn the bass all the way up.Great sound and performs very well. My only disappointment is it not having a mid range adjustment.Amazing quality, looks and performance for such a great price. My pictures show day and night lighting so you can see how much more blue it is at night. The contrast of the white lights was a little hard to capture but it looks great and super clean.

Don't believe these 1 star people!
Listen, this is a $35 stereo, that's REALLY ALL you need to know, but I'll elaborate a little. So for $35, the fact that it even works is a bonus, let alone all these features! Yes the housing is made of plastic and it's VERY lightweight, but I would think the plastic costs at LEAST $35 to manufacture and hey, you even get a cardboard box, 2 wiring harnesses and some instructions inside a ziplock envelope. How do you beat that? You don't! NOT for $35 or even $50! Ever buy a phone case for $100?Moving on, for $35, you get bluetooth, an SD card reader, MP3 player, a remote control and TWO sets of pre-outs!Anyone who complains about this stereo is IMHO an uneducated consumer! At this price point AND in the Pyle tradition, you get WAY more than you should expect and if it lasted you 1 Summer, again, it was a $35 stereo, go buy another one or invest in something that you feel would be better quality. I will say this though, I've had a Pi**neer AVEC touch screen fail on me within 1.2yrs and that stereo cost me $600 and that was for my truck. For my boat, I'm not concerned, YET and I was looking for a 'cheapy' just to see if I'm even going to commit to being a boat owner. This stereo performs perfectly, was a snap to install, didn't break the bank and I sound great connected to my SKAR SK65M's and a Pyle 1200w amp.One reviewer left a 1 star review as if she's soooo disappointed, because she even bought a set of $25 Lanzar speakers, LOL!! Maybe she should've just gotten a bluetooth speaker and called it a day? IDKBottom line is, if you're even looking at this stereo, you're NOT looking to spend high end $$$, so don't expect high end quality, BUT DEFINITELY be prepared to be pleasantly surprised!

Meh
Bluetooth disconnects and won’t allow my phone to reconnect until I hit the reset button. It is a pain but I guess I shouldn’t expect much from a cheap radio
