After installing m, i started truck and found it was not charging. I started to remove the alternator to take it to test and this wire fell off. The connector came off the bottom of the wire in the battery box. I also noticed they only exposed about a 1/16 of an inch of bare wire. Not enough to get a good connection. I stripped more insulation off and put on a new connector. Had to bend bracket on battery box to get close enough to install on alternator. After I fixed wire, alternator was charging. Wire needs to be about an inch or 2 longer and have a higher quality connector with enogh insulation stripped off to work.

I wish the wire would have been a little more thicker and a little more longer. The terminal ring that goes to the battery junction box is too flimsy and the hole too large, the terminal rings could have been soldered too. This looks like something done in someone's home garage, not a professionally done product. Made in Mexico...
