I purchased this for my fourth grader's homework desk. For maximum portability, I actually adhered the chalkboard to a heavy duty poster board, super-glued 2 metal rings to the back of the poster board, and put 2 command hooks on the wall to hang the poster on. That way it can be removed repeatedly with no worries of losing stickiness. The 4 markers that come with it write well and erase easily with a wet cloth. I love it, my daughter loves it. Win!

Great calendar. Big spaces for writing each day, plus space on sides for notes. Thick sticker material with easy peal-away backing. (Think thick contact paper, but not transparent.)I used this for a bullion board and had planned to leave the backing on the calendars, but as it unrolled, the backing bubbled. So I ended up mounting it on poster board. I don't think it would work to simply leave the back on. You need to mount it on something.I found the first time I wrote on the board with the markers, they didn't work well - like writing on a dry erase surface with a normal marker. But, I wiped the whole calendar with a damp cloth and tried again, and they worked great. *Tip - clean board first!Great Calendar that will hold up for years to come, but must be stuck on something. I will be ordering more!*Update: marker does not wash off completely! After having these calendars up for a month, I went to wash the marker off and it is hard!! I scrubbed at it for almost 30 minutes. The white came off completly, but the blue, purple, and espically pink could still be seen.(see picture, the markers were left on for one month, the scrubbed off for 30 minutes. The picture is after scrubbing!) I do not recommend using the included markers of you want to use this calendar over and over.

Seemed perfect for my classroom. Perfect chalkboard decor and needed item. Great size. Now a month later the chalk pen and even regular chalk (because pen didn't contrast well enough to see across room) won't come off. I just spent 10 minutes scrubbing it. Then used water. Then used Clorox wipes. Still not clean! This is month one. I can only imagine how it will look after month 10. I will now have to buy Velcro tabs and use pre made numbers to have a decent calendar. Don't waste your money.

Terrible! Don't waste your money, the adhesive is not strong enough. The same day I installed it on my wall, it peeled off by itself falling to the floor. I walked back into my room and saw it jumbled on my floor. It stuck to itself way better than it did to my wall. I bought another adhesive chalk board the same time I purchased this one (different brand) and have had no problems with it. They went up within minutes of each other and that one is still sticking to my wall.Such a waste of money.

Love it! Only thing I would add is a little square inside the day column to write the date (number) but I am happy with how easy it was to apply to my kitchen wall and overall quality :) It is true that the ink doesn't completely comes off and is super hard if you use only water and a cloth like the manufacturer suggests instead I use magic eraser and it comes off almost completely!!

Loved the chalkboard calendar! It was the right size for the space I had. Loved the colored markers. But, the peel and stick wasn't working. It kept unpeeling, so I taped the corners down. Then when it was time to change the month and dates, the marker wouldn't come off. So I sent it back. If a new and improve chalkboard calendar is made, I'd buy it.

We put this on the our refrigerator. it is so helpful. We are able to put our grocery list in the large space. The kids love writing in their events. We have everything on there. I keep a digital calendar but this allows us to have one in plain sight so that we can keep track easier. EXCELLENT PURCHASE! Thinking of buying again to send to my ex-husbands house for the kids to keep there.

I only used it for short time. I have to discard it shortly after I bought it because the adhesive is not strong enough. It fell off by itself.
