I purchased 2 Sleep number ultimate pillows and removed some of the inserts to reduce the side. I put 1 insert into each pillow protector. This worker perfectly to make 2 extra pillow. These will fit 2 of the sleep number inserts but 2 is very tight for the standard size. I would not recommend but 1 insert is perfect and actually better than 1 insert in the sleep number case.

I absolutely love these pillow protectors. They are so plush, soft, and thick. My only recommendation would be that you order a size up if you use buckwheat hull pillows. I have a standard size buckwheat hull pillow that measures 20-in x 26-in and the standard size pillow protector isn't quite large enough for the pillow. You need extra space in the pillow protector to allow the buckwheat hulls to be moved around for customization purposes. I'll have to order a queen size pillow protector.

So i was one of those people that bought three different pillow protectors after a bed bug scare (we didn't have them, but I don't want to go through that again so decided to get pillow protectors). I bought the Coop Home Goods, the AllerEase Organic Cotton Allergy Protection Pillow Protectors, and the MakeMake Organics Organic Pillow Protector (Set of 2) GOTS Certified Organic. First I bought the MakeMake Organics and not only did it have a too-thick-for-me ribbing around it, but it was also huge and was no where near fitting my standard pillow. It was comfortable fabric but the size was so off and the ribbing was uncomfortable. Next I bought the AllerEase and that fit the pillows and was much more comfortable, but it made too much noise. So they both went back and I tried the Coop Home Goods. This one was so much better than the other two - I ended up buying a second set for our other pillows.

I ordered the standard pillow protector from Coop Home Goods, and it appears to be very good quality. The material is soft, thick, and quiet. The downsides are that the zipper doesn't extend the full width of the side, so it's not a slide-the-pillow-in-easily-deal, and that it seems to run a little small. My Coop Home Goods Eden pillow, also standard size, is tightly packed in there; so, I should've ordered the protector one size up, in queen rather than standard, so that I could adjust the pillow a bit for different sleeping positions. I will say that for the quality of this protector, the price is very reasonable, and I would recommend it. Just buy it one size up from your pillow size.
