The installation process is straightforward, accompanied by clear instructions and necessary accessories. The quality of the product is quite impressive considering the price. I noticed that the filters effectively removed the hardness of the water, and my bathtub looks much better after installation.

No handyman required, simplicity to install is a big plus! All required pieces, like filter sediment pads, already pre-installed, plus extras included for future replacements. Immediately took a shower to see and feel the impacts on my hair and skin of no more chlorine showers. IT IS AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE! I felt like there was something missing from my skin (of course this was the absence of harsh chemicals)...all my skin felt smooth, soft and not dry...the skin on my face felt taught and like i had put moisturizer lotion on it...VERY PLEASENT OVERALL AMAZINGLY DIFFERENT COMFORTING EXPERIENCE! I tasted the water, couldn't taste anything. That's the way it should be if the chlorine and other toxins were truly removed. VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS LITTLE H2O GIZMO...GET IT YOU & YOUR FAMILY WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! My wife will try it to see if it's true that her hair stops falling off with this device. I'll update my review in the coming months.

Changed my hair skin and nails. As someone with bleached hair I notice my color and vibrancy holds for weeks longer. Less breakage. My beauty products in the shower are able to work to their fullest.

Conclusion/Takeaway: This Aqua Bliss showerhead filter takes any nasty chlorinated city water, introduces some mystical vitamins/nutrients and thus converts it into holy shower water! - This product really does produce shower water that exceeds expectations, however it might leak a bit at the connection point (inside shower, so not a problematic leak). - Buy this and enjoy your holy water infused with magic vitamins & minerals shower! Details (for this interested): The results listed in the other positive reviews on this product are legit, the product does what the product description says it will. Prior to buying & installing this Aqua Bliss showerhead filter, everytime my wife showered she left behind more hair than at a barber's shop. How she could lose that much hair on a daily basis & still have a full head of hair shall remain one of nature's great mysteries. Fast forward to any given date after we began using this showerhead filter and there's no longer a volleyball-sized pile of hair on the floor after she showers. Anyways, this product produces shower water that makes your skin etc feel like it has been kissed by a unicorn. However, there's room for improvement in either the material that the outer housing is constructed from, or room for improvement in the threaded connection assembly. I've tried every trick in the plumber's book, but there's still water leaking from the the connection point (inside shower space) where this product threads onto shower elbow. Note: the aforementioned "plumber's book" is proverbial, besides plumbers don't read!;) Regardless, don't be deterred [from buying this product] by the potential for a bit of water leakage at the filter's connection point. I'm only mentioning it just in case Aqua Bliss's NPD, Engineering, or Quality team reads these posts - if that's you reading this: improve the design of the connector, or construct the connector out of brass vs plastic.

I spent quite some time researching shower head filters, and the filtration media used in them, before ordering this AquaBliss SF400 filter. The AquaBliss has a good looking case in addition to being really good at filtration. The filter is well built and does not have a notable impact on water flow. A winner on all counts! - My water company changed something about a year ago and my water has had an odd smell to it ever since. After showering I could smell this odor on my skin, so I decided to get a shower filter. This SF400 filter has removed all but the slightest hint of this mystery odor while showering, and I no longer smell any chlorine at all. Really, my water has almost no odor at all now - and that was my objective! The filtration media in the SF400 is very complete, including filtration for various levels of sediment, THM, lime, scale, and chlorine. The filter also includes a very effective redox media made from copper and zinc. In addition to removing the stuff you don't want in your water, the filter also adds some stuff to it that you do want - such as Vitamin C, zeolite, and tourmaline. I wasn't looking for these water treatments in a filter, but I am certainly not opposed! One of my major concerns with a shower filter was losing overall water pressure to the shower head as my home’s water pressure is already mediocre. The SF400's "high flow" claims along with the quality media inside attracted me to this filter. I was unable to confirm what the gallons-per-minute (GPM) or pressure loss was from using this filter would be before buying it, but I was able to calculate the impact after installation. I measured out 5 gallons of water into a bucket and marked it off. I then timed how long it took to fill the bucket before and after the filter install to determine the GPM loss from the filter. The results surprised me. With just a bare pipe, I have a GPM of 3.53. With just the filter installed, the GPM dropped to 3.13. That means with my 55 PSI water pressure I only have an 11% loss in GPM using this filter. That's impressive because 100% of the water passes through the SF400 filter (there is no bypass). But more importantly, after installing the shower head on the filter, the pressure loss was effectively non-existent! My shower head without the filter installed was providing 2.62 GPM. After the filter was installed, I got 2.5 GPM. This means that the shower head itself was the long pole in the tent in restricting water flow. This also means that this filter has enough water flow to fully power a 2.5 GPM shower head - even with mediocre water pressure! Overall, the AquaBliss SF400 filter is very impressive and has met or exceeded all of my expectations and is highly recommend.

I purchased this model after originally buying the SF500 model because I wanted the infused vitamins and minerals. The SF500 had not issues, but this one immediately had a creaking/snapping sound when the faucet was turned on and turned off. Thinking I had somehow loosened the part where you replace the filter, I took it down, made sure it was tight and screwed together right, replaced the plumber's tape I used the first time ensuring I wrapped it tightly and neatly 3-4 times, and reinstalled. When attaching the filter to the faucet, being gentle and only tightening by the piece that screwed onto the faucet while supporting the base of the filter, the top piece broke off. Not sure if this was a fluke but I ordered a replacement in hopes I come back and can change this review for the better.

Was super excited to receive this filter as I live in a town with extremely hard water and an apartment building with old pipes to boot. It was simple enough to install and attach my shower head to it, the first three showers were absolutely amazing! My skin felt softer compared to feeling like I washed up with a dryer sheet before using the filter, and my water even smelled less chemically treated. Unfortunately upon my 4th shower, I turned the shower head on only to have brown colored water pour out at me,(it cleared fairly quickly to clear water) thinking that with the recent heavy rainfall in my area, maybe the pipes are flushing out or maybe the town is flushing them and I didn’t notice, I showered for the day and didn’t give a second thought, but I should have. The next day I once again turned on my shower head and got the same dark brown water starting out but then it ran clear. Long story short, the filter is causing the brown colored water at the beginning. I’ve changed the white pads to the new ones that come with the filter and about 3 showers later, dark brown water.(Picture included with review.) Plus my hair has started feeling more like straw or hay than it did before, unsure if the filter has anything to do with it or not. While I was very excited to buy this, I’m now second guessing it and wondering if I should’ve done more research on the product.

EDIT 12/27/22: Working with the manufacturer and their customer service was simple. I let them know I couldn't open the filter housing even after their suggestions and they graciously sent me another (and an additional cartridge) free of charge. I live in California's central valley where our water is hard as a rock. I often had dry, itchy skin and damaged, brittle hair. I never felt like I could achieve a satisfactory rinse no matter how long I stayed under the shower. By the end of most days, it would feel like I had to shower again. I don't know how to describe it: but the water coming out of the filter instantly feels different, in an excellent way. It feels silky. Now I don't step out of a 10-minute shower feeling like I've still got conditioner in my hair and soap scum on my skin. It took me far too long to recognize the damage poor-quality water was doing to my appearance and sense of cleanliness. If you're even a little in doubt, try this filter out. I've only had 2-3 showers since it arrived and I feel like it's already helping to repair my skin/hair. I have the feeling some users (like myself) may need to replace the cartridge more frequently than the 6 months recommended by the manufacturer. OLD REVIEW: The filter feels heavy like it will do some work. Everything came included in the box. However, I could not install it when I first received it, because I could not open the chrome filter housing to inspect all the pieces. I'm glad I found out before using it for several months, only to purchase a new one down the line. I contacted customer service immediately and will update this post upon an anticipated satisfactory resolution.
