problem resolved - very pleased
UPDATE 5/4/17Last week I was contacted by the seller and offered a free replacement, which has worked well in the 6 days I've had it. It stays primed and pumps smoothly without blasting out a ton of soap like the last one.So, I'm changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars. I am now 100% pleased with the pump function, and it's an attractive looking item in spite of the low price.Side note: I was annoyed that the seller's response to my problem in March was that they couldn't help me, but 2 months after my negative review they were motivated to do so. But it sounded like maybe they had a bad run of dispensers and had to wait until that was resolved, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't debit a star for this.Original Review from 3/7/17 (one-star):This is the 3rd soap dispenser of this type that I've purchased. The style matches my faucet. Looking at the different listings for these, you can see that the metal tops are the same but the working parts seem to be different from manufacturer to manufacturer. Neither of the other two worked properly, so I took a chance on this one because of the many decent reviews.Well, the best thing I can say is that it does actually function. It does dispense soap when you press down and the pump stays primed. So, it's a bit better than the last two I tried. The problem is that it sticks. It's difficult to press down and then when you press hard enough to get it past the stuck point, it then sends soap flying out fast and furious. And if you don't have your sponge covering the end well enough, it flies past and gets all over. One time it flew across the kitchen and onto the floor 4 feet away. I am not exaggerating. I definitely never simply pump it into my hand, or it splatters everywhere. I have to use the scrubber sponge.I went back to the reviews wondering if I had a reject that I should exchange or if maybe I somehow missed that this is a regular problem. I saw one reviewer say that they had the same issue but the seller sent a replacement that was fine. So I figured mine is a simply a dud, and I contacted the seller about the problem, hoping they could send a new top. They said the product has a flaw, and there's nothing they can do. So much for customer service! So, buyer beware that even the seller says it's flawed and tough luck. If you want a functional but frustrating soap dispenser, this is the one for you.

Great soap dispenser, unbeatable price!
Couldn't be more pleased with this product! It has a great look that matches the new stainless steel faucet I just installed. It has a solid feel to it because it's manufactured with quality materials and I believe it will last a long time. The installation is easy for one person and would be a snap with two people. It fits very firmly on my sink and dispenses soap without a lot of downward pressure. Considered several other soap dispensers before settling on this one and I am glad I decided to order it - saved money and received a quality product! The last soap dispenser I purchased had one weak spot - it was the plastic threaded part that held the bottle in place underneath the sink. When I installed it, I over-tightened it (by hand) and cracked that part, so the bottle never fit tightly after that. This product appears to be much more durable, so I don't expect to have that problem again. In fact, I noticed that specific part of the Korlen soap dispenser is made out of black plastic - all of the other soap dispensers I looked at on Amazon are constructed with clear plastic for that part, (like my old soap dispenser), so I decided it might be stronger as a result, and I believe it is.Admittedly, the tube appears to be the same size as the hole it where it fits into the pump - and I thought it would not fit as some other reviewers claim - but it does fit with some pressure at the right angle.Thank you Korlen for a nicely styled, well designed product, made with materials that will stand up to long term use at a fantastic price!I paid full price for this product and received no compensation nor discount for writing this review. I am truly happy with my purchase and highly recommend this item and seller.

Great until you need to refill it.
I really loved having the soap dispenser hidden away under the sink, but refilling is is a beast. You have to try to squeeze soap down a straw or get under the sink.

Works But Sticky....edited review
I'm editing my initial review that is written below. I was promptly contacted by someone from Korlon CS about my sticky dispenser and they were very helpful. After seeing my displeasure they sent a refund code that allowed me to re purchase another dispenser without returning my defective one. I just recieved the new one and will say it's much smoother and works a lot better. Still not the quality of the Blanco unit we have in our kitchen but that one retails for about $55 more. I'm revising my initial rating to 5 stars to reflect the great CS and although the dispenser isn't high end quality, it now works very well for the price point.Installation was straight forward and for the price the product seemed well enough built but, the plunger in my unit is very sticky. When I press down lightly it will not move. I takes a good bit of effort to get any movement and when it does finally break free you're pressing so hard it usually results in a full stroke of the dispenser and a BIG squirt of soap. It's almost impossible to get just a little bit of soap when you need it. I have the dispenser on my basement utility sink so it's not used all that often but I'm already getting a little perturbed by it. I'm going to give it awhile a maybe it will loosen up but I can see myself replacing it in the near future. As they say, you get what you pay for.
