I waited a few weeks to write a review.At first it scared me not using my feet however after adjusting, adjusting, adjusting the length and the strap, I think I finally got it. Also, I ended up buying the steering wheel knob because taking tight corners was difficult. I am still practicing on back roads but starting to get the hang of it. I live in CT so there is always somebody on your tail or at an intersection. I have a '91 Chevy K1500. My feet and legs stop working after a while so this is a needed item. Take your time, practice and buy the knob. Tighten up the bolts every now and then just to be sure.note: when you leave the vehicle, make sure the handle is pulled back as far as you can as to not have your brake lights on. I had a neighbor knock on my door to tell me there were on.All in all, I think this will be helpful in the long run.

This is the second time I purchased this item. We have a set in each car. So easy to install my wife could do it. She rights the reviews so yes, they were easy. The case is nice in case you travel and need to rent a car. We have used them on a 2007 Malibu max, a 2008 Suzuki and recently a1990 Volvo sedan. If you remember the “old style” metal controls from the early 80’s …that required drilling and maybe even someone to install them…these are amazing. Don’t lose any of your independence! Drive the car you want.

Says you can put it on either side, had issues with pedal heights when putting it on the right.

I broke my leg a month ago and I work in another city. I got this to take the pressure off my leg.1. The brake clamps didn't stayed on. Fell off twice while driving2. For some reason, the gas pedal side would automatically press the gas. Even when I'm not pressing it. Which caused a lot of near accidents3. Even with the belt, it couldn't stay upOverall I would recommend a different brand or style

Great for someone who's mobility to drive is weak .

I was so hopeful cause I wanted something to get by until I had money saved up for a professional setup to be installed. I am a partial paraplegic, and my legs just don't respond well enough to drive safely. My husband and I went to an empty parking lot to test this out the first time. It felt so flimsy and didn't seem to press the pedals very well. The way it attaches to the steering wheel is also just asking for trouble; any little thing could get in the way between your legs and the handle (including your own thighs). It seemed so unsafe when he tested it that we didn't even bother with me trying it. For reference, I have a 2021 VW Atlas Cross Sport. I suppose this might work better in other types of vehicles, but it's a pass from me.

I got these for my fiance who is disabled and isn't able to use his legs well enough for driving. After a little practice he passed his driving test with flying colors and its been great ever since. He has his freedom and ability to go and do things on his own. And I get to sleep in the car on long drives! Even some of his doctors had never seen them and were surprised. I was concerned about safety at first, and honestly they are probably less safe then driving with hands and feet. But its better than not being able to drive at all. And once you get the hang of it its not too different from regular driving. Very beneficial for someone with low or no leg mobility.

I have been using this product for 3 months, and its compatibility has no issue. I attached it to my Hyundai Elantra 2010. So far, so good. No problem at all.
