Nice book
A little bit general with the types of engineering and slightly vague but a good overview. I was hoping for slight more detail on electrical and mechanical engineering. Good enough for what was paid. No idea if it’ll even be read though that’s the problem it’s not on a screen

Low quality info, pics and more of a putboff the industry than a boost
References at the back more use than the contents. Just an overview of different types of engineering but VERY selective of the types. A quick internet search if FAR more informative. 'Diagrams' are really lame. Just poor quality computer generated drawings with zero info. Badly written. Badly structured. Deep Dive sections were lame and just random and not very good examples of solutions in engineering.

Basic book
Bought it for my 14 year old who wants to.be an engineer. He said it was too basic. Not helpful for him.

It's not easy to find a give for a teen age boy who has about everything you can think of. My grandson received this Christams gift from me and said he was excited to get exactly what he wanted.

I understood very well that there are abundant career opportunities for an engineer but that there are certain required qualities to be a good engineer, the breadth of vast knowledge being one of many.
