DEWALT DWHT16063 Short Blade Wood Chisel 4piece set

These are good quality and easy to sharpen. I am new to this but felt it was a good buy and good standard for me to start with. I liked the different size chisels so I could figure out how to use them. It came with a nice hanging case. I can open easily remove each chisel and replace it and snap it back on the case frame. The frame is nice for protecting the ends of the chisel and each chisel has its own place.. All the how to information I found said you had to sharpen even new ones so I did. I don't have enough experience to know if this was necessary. The chisel I used was easy to clean.

These chisels are sharp and well built. It would be nice if the case came apart without manual trimming for storage. Any fan of DeWalt products would be happy with these.

Best chisel set I have had!

Solid investment. These are sharp and sturdy, just what I needed to uncover filled in hinge cutouts for double doors that had previously been removed from a doorway arch. Previously tried flat head screwdrivers and a tool with a flat edge that can be used for prying but those were just tearing up the wood and not giving a straight edge. These chisels are great and the various sizes are useful.

I’ve been using the DeWalt Hand Chisel Set for a while now, and it’s been a solid addition to my bench. In fact, just about every tool, I purchase is a Dewalt, you can’t go wrong. The chisels are extremely sharp and hold their edge well, making clean, precise cuts easy. The handles feels great and easy to use. If you're looking for quality chisels that perform well, I definitely recommend this set!

The flatness, sharpness, ease of adaptable functionality, and compact size give you a handy tool that is functional when it comes to resizing, fitting, molding and twisting things like removing silicone improperly used as a door sweep or twisting out a stuck sink stopper or bending and banging with the flat ends of some small underside, barely adequate braces for a sink tub to be held in a precarious alignment. The value was there. The chisels were all easily stored after use.
