This air filter package was advertised as an add on to my initial purchase of the Winix 5510 I purchased in July 2025. It is now November and I decided to change the filter and have learned the filter does not fit my unit. The return period has ended and I feel exceedingly ripped off. Now I have a set of filters I've no idea what to do with as I live on a remote island in the North Pacific I still need to purchase the proper size to fit my machine. Lesson: Do not believe the add-on filter Amazon advertises is the product you need for your air filter, always check.

GENTLEMAN IN A T SHIRT COMPARED LOW PRICE TO $3,000.00 MACHINES. CONCLUDED YOU CAN BUT A COUPLE OF WINEX DOING THE SAME JOB FOR MULTIPLE ROOMS FOR A LOT LESS THAN THE $3,000.00 SINGLE ROOM UNIT. WITH LOWCOST REPLACEMENT FILTERS YOU CHANGE ONCE A YEAR. AND EASY CLEAN THE REAL CHARCOAL AND SCREEN FILTERS ONCE A MONTH. I HAVE TERRIBLE ALLERGIES AND THESE WORK WONDERS FOR ME. I MOVED INTO A NEWER MODERN HOUSE WITH EXCEPTIONAL INSULATION AND DOORS AND WINDOWS. BUT I STILL GET SUPER FINE DUST WITHIN A WEEK COVERING THE METAL & CHARCOAL FILTER. I REALIZED THIS DUST IS FROM CEILING PAINT. When I was a child my house had a constant lite coating of dust within 3 days. I discovered when my father repainted the ceiling with WALL PAINT the DUST STOPPED. CEILING PAINT MUST BE VERY CHEAP AND DRIES DUSTY. SO...I HAVE TO GET MY CEILINGS REPAINTED EVEN THOUGH MY HOUSE IS ONLY ABOUT 12 YEARS OLD AND DO FOR A REPAINTING ANYWAY. IF YOU GET A WINEX MAKE SURE IT IS THE ONE WITH THE ACTUAL CHARCOAL FILTERS NOT THE ONE WITH THE COATED CHARCOAL FILTER. THE MACHINES LOOK IDENTICAL BUT CHARCOAL FILTER ARE DIFFERENT BEST THESE FILTERS WORK GREAT. HAPPY BREATHING.
