Accurate kit of a corvette circa Spring 1943
An excellent kit of a mid-war Flower class corvette. Very highly detailed and the best depiction of a hedgehog mortar that I've seen in any scale. One thing that I would change is the listing of paint needed. Revell Germany uses their paint numbers only. Cross referencing with other manufacturers' paint or listing by FS number would help. Also, the decal on the gun house should have a blue background. O

For experienced builders
I have built many models, this one has good detail and many parts, but you will need to do alot of sanding,fitting,filling and cleaning. It has alot of release agent on it ( prob made in Poland). Also has a missing railing part never designed into the sprue ( G-453) wrote Revell for replacement,but it was never in sprue so I doubt they will have it. It's an expert level model so making a railing should be within your skill,If you want a decent allied ship to go with your fleet,this is a nice addition.

This is hard to build, and takes a long time (and that's good!)
There are over 500 pieces, and every single one needs to be painted. So plan on painting a lot. And make sure you have forceps, because some of those pieces are very small. I've been working on this model for at least 40 hours, and I am not done yet. So if you want a detailed model that has really good fit and finish and will keep you occupied for a long time, this is it!

It is challenging but within my model building skill level. I prefer building wooden models but many have poor, incomprehensible or non-existent instructions

Description
This model is 17 in long not 43 in . 43 is cm . I have been waiting till I finished to continue my review. A very interesting model of a neglected subject. Extreme details. But, if there is a slot to connect a piece it’s not going to fit. If there is a small hole to put a piece in that won’t fit either. The instructions are good once you get used to them. Please don’t fit the rudder when connecting the hull halfs. It’s extremely flimsy. I figured I should watch videos of assembly and watch him break the rudder also.im not going to build another from this company during the pandemic

Great model at a good price
Great model at a good price. Interested in history of Canada and it will be a great addition to m y collection.
