Rollerball Pen Refills - Smooth Writing German Ink and Fine 0.5 mm Threaded Rolling Ball Refills (5 x Blue)

These are absolutely perfect if you're replacing your cartridge for the Mont Blanc Meisterstuck. I ordered them for my carbon fiber Montblanc. They are fine so the writing is thin I usually like a medium but for the price and the amount you get you can't go wrong. I've been using a Montblanc since I turned 21, and they look exactly like the original replacements and they write exactly like it. You wouldn't know the difference between the original and these. (Except for the price of course). So if you're looking for quality at an affordable price, then these are definitely the right cartridges for your Montblanc. They're almost as smooth if not just a bit smoother when you're writing then the originals. I don't think I'll buy another $25.00 original replacement. It always dries out before I get the chance to use the full cartridge, as I don't use the pens everyday. Now I can say that the next time I go to use the pen and the cartridge is dried out, I won't be so annoyed. Because I found a great place to buy them cheaper. Amazon!🤩

When you have a favorite pen and need a refill, they aren't always easy to find in stores. The refills arrived the next day and I was pleased to find they fit most of my pens. I feel this is a fair price and happy with the flow of ink.

The quality of the cartridge seems similar to the Montblanc original aluminum cartridge. The cap of the replacement cartridge is soft and flimsy, where the original is hard and clicks to lock when capping the cartridge, where the replacement does not. The ink flow seems good, but the flows of the ink is dependent in the angle (45° seems to be best for me). I did not get skipping during my testing (writing in 45°). I will update this review should things change for the lesser. The cartridge seems to also fit similar to the original, but sticks out a bit more than the original (see images). The writing does seem a little of less quality, but then again, I wonder if that is just the placebo effect. I have had this pen for close to two decades, and for the price of $7.99 ($8.83 after taxes) for five cartridges that is close to the original, I could not have made a better purchase on a replacement cartridge for my Montblanc Meisterstück Classique Rollerball Pen.

I purchased these refills (black ink) in December of 2024 for a nice, heavyweight pen that I have which uses Mont Blanc refills. These refills fit my pen perfectly. HOWEVER, I had to do a review because I am disappointed...VERY DISAPPOINTED...I should say, as for how these refills write. I really don't like doing negative reviews, but the truth is the truth. The first one I used would write smoothly for a bit, then would begin "skipping", requiring me to go over-and-over what was written several times to make it look half-way decent. Frustrated, I removed that first refill, and inserted a second one, thinking maybe the "skipping" was a problem with only that first one I used. NOPE...the second one is just as crappy as the first one. I don't see how there are as many 5 STAR and 4 STAR reviews, because these are sorry rollerball refills. Maybe I just got a bad/defective batch, but at $7.99 for 5 refills, I expected better performance than what I am getting from these. If you expect a smooth writing rollerball pen, like I do, Good Luck IF YOU PURCHASE THESE!

I just received this package of blue rollerball refills for my Mont Blanc classique-size pen. They fit perfectly and write very well. Very pleased with them. Can’t truly speak to longevity since I just received them.

These are not as smooth as genuine MB refills, but of course their line-width is narrower. They fit well, and their loose some of their initial scratchiness over time. The ink is quick to dry and doesn't smudge. I'm happy with these and would order again.

Nice color, fits Mont Blanc perfectly, but the ink is intermittent so you have to keep rewriting. So it's really inexpensive, but you get what you pay for with these.

Devo essere sincero, ero scettico su questa alternativa alle gemelle targate MontBlanc. Da decenni utilizzo penne MontBlanc e mi sono sempre svenato per utilizzare le famose Royal Blue. Scrivo molto a penna e credo di aver investito nel tempo un patrimonio negli anni... Mi sono deciso a provare questa alternativa e devo essere onesto, scrittura al top. A tratti migliori delle gemelle famose, che su alcune superficie tendono a singhiozzare. Inchiostro fluido e perfetto su ogni superficie, dal semplice foglio di carta bianco alle Moleskine... Lo consiglio vivamente a chi usa i famosi strumenti di scrittura.

I own two Mont Blanc pens and for years I've been buying original Mont Blanc refills paying about CAD$33 for a package of two. I decided to order these refills that come in a package of 5 for CAD$10.82, and again that is for 5 refills instead of the original two. I didn't know what to expect as the price was about 1/8 of the originals. I must say that I'm very pleased with the purchase. The refills are an exact match, ink is great and they fit perfectly. Needles to say that I'm not buying originals any more.
