I drink 2 cups of tea daily and wanted a cute and easy timer to keep on my desk, and this fit the bill! Some of my teas take 3 mins to brew and some take 5 mins, so it is perfect for my needs. The only thing that I don't really like is that I have only used it for 12 days and I had to replace the batteries already. I used brand new Amazon brand batteries so I am a bit concerned about that. I decorated it with cute stickers so it looks cute on my desk.

We use this for keeping track of the 5 minute rule on a coveted seat in the house, and it works well for that. We were a little disappointed at how quickly we had to replace the battery, but that might have been due to how much we've used it.

The media could not be loaded. In our homeschooling we use timers daily. I had simple push button egg timers but I loathed the sound of the each beep if would take to set them to 15 min, they would only go up one min per press of the button. I have four kids who would all need to set their timers many times a day. Do the math that is a ridiculous amount of beeps. This block timer is so easy to use. Turn it on, flip it, that’s it. The alarm is not crazy loud and does have a high and low setting for the volume. I love the purple we bought such a lovely color. This timer is life changing and has saved my sanity.

I was really looking forward to using this and initially, it did help me concentrate on my writing bursts but I'd had it less than a month and only used it a couple of times and the batteries completely died. I replaced them and it works again but if I'm replacing 2 batteries every few weeks after minimal usage, I think I'll look for a rechargeable one.***UPDATE***I used it once with the new batteries but left the slider on rather than turning it off. Picked it up to use a week later and it was dead! I have changed my rating from a 2 to a 1 star. Waste of money and batteries.

This is my second cube timer. The first has different times on it. Very satisfied with both. You just tilt them to the desired side, to set them going. When they beep, you tilt them back to the base (or let them stop beeping on their own, which does not take too long). The sound is loud but not obnoxiously so. If you tilt them back to their base while there is time left, they will pause, rather than reset. If you change the side while there is time remaining, they start over with the new time. If you want to stop them before the time is up, you simply turn them off with the slider switch. So simple compared to other digital timers I have had.

My 3 year old loves setting this timer for himself. He gets excited about it and I love that he’s ready to move on to the next thing when it goes off.

I love the way this cube timer works — or rather *worked* — at first! I love the easy flip to turn it on and having different minutes on each side. And I love the color! But, just months after I bought it, it stopped working properly. First it stopped working on the “high” volume setting, but would still work on the low volume setting (which seems very odd!). But soon it stopped working on any setting. I’m so disappointed! Now I have to toss it and find another one that is made better!
