Natural Birch Tar Soap Liquid 300ml/10.1 Fl Oz by Neva Cosmetics

I'm using this on my blue heeler/border collie for her dry skin and what I'm assuming is seborrhea. I've read that the birch tar can be harmful to dogs if a certain amount is swallowed so I make sure to rinse her off thoroughly. The smell isn't a sweet fragrance like most soaps, but I wasn't expecting that. The scent reminds me of what your clothes smell like after sitting around a campfire, and the smell doesn't last long after my dog is dry. After 1 wash and a couple of days later, it seems to be helping a bit with her dry skin and she hasn't been scratching her fur off the entire night so I'd say it's definitely helping.I know I rely a lot on reviews and I appreciate the time taken to submit them, so please press the helpful button. The scent is slightly weaker and not as rich as bar soap of same brand. But still awesome product, great for the skin. Immediate noticable difference, great soothing and healing qualities.

I buy this soap all the time. It is mostly for my kids who have had some eczema or similar skin concerns. This soap pretty much takes care of that problem. Before this soap, I was using various other soaps, lotions, ointments, etc. Really nothing has helped before. Of course, cortisone always helps in those instances but I wanted to find some solution other than cortisone. I heard that Birch Tar is an ancient remedy for skin problems. I have used this soap and also a shampoo from Birch Tar to clear up nearly all skin issues. It's been a great product for our family.Also, its oddly moisturizing and does not dry out your skin.

I have been using this product for well over two weeks and there’s absolutely no change in my skin.

I purchased this a few years ago, where it sat unused on the shelf. My son has just horrible acne and has been using those monthly subscription BP products for years. I've tried several times to get him to give this a try, but nobody listens to dad....A week ago, his face got so bad he was willing to do about anything at that point. I asked him to give this a try, and by afternoon his face started to get a little color to it, as in a natural skin tone from the 'just red all over' look. Of course, one day does not a a change make, but he has been using this daily for a week, and the change is just amazing.

Soap is OK but the picture is deceptive. You only get one bottle, not 2.
