It is very pretty. Good for half up or all of the hair. I have fairly thick hair that gets too warm. I can easily fit it all in this clip. It is very sturdy and pretty. I would feel comfortable wearing this out or for casual. I have auburn hair and it blends nicely and doesn't shout out-look at my clip, It is very pretty and classy. Looks expensive. I would feel comfortable wearing this to something higher-end or professional. It is a great item for the work hair wardrobe. I hesitated but there was no need. Wish I had gotten this one first. Could have saved on some of the other lesser clips I have purchased. Oh yeah, not heavy. I get headaches from heavy clips.

I have bought quite a few Camilla hair barrettes. I like the rubber on the clasp and I like the way they look. Nicely made and hold up well. I think they're worth the extra cost as you get what you pay for. I do not have a lot of hair, very fine, medium length. This clip holds my hair in a ponytail and because it's wider than a hair tie, I think it might make it look like I have more hair. I think it would be too small or people with thicker hair. They have plenty of 4" clips that would be better for really thick hair in a ponytail. Of all the Camilla barrettes I have, none have ever come out of my hair, even with my hair being so fine and thin. I even have some of the bigger ones and they work fine for me, but this size is ideal for my type of hair in a ponytail. I would really like to see some models wearing their hair accessories so I could get a better idea of what they look like.

This clip may be more expensive than a regular barrette but well worth it. This held my hair in place all day where as most clips only hold for a few hours. Another big bonus for me was how easy it was to clip in my hair. My hair didn't get tangled around the prongs as I was trying to clip it in place. I have very fine hair and this stayed in place wonderfully. I will be ordering more of these.

I like the barrette and it does do well for fine thin hair and it’s a nice color pink. But for $15.00 I would have thought they should have sent two. But that’s my fault I didn’t ask. But again it’s a nice barrette and works.

I love the way this barrette stays in my hair, no matter where I place it, to the side, at the crown, or the nape.

This clip holds my hair without slipping. I have long straight fine hair. I wear this daily.
