Just what the apex system needed, replace every 6 months.

Item is definitely used. No packaging, dirty with water residual already on the filter cap and the protective yellow caps have been put upside down!! It's amazing a "drinking" water filter could be sold as used.

My RO water tested at 6.0 PH, after running through this filter, it raised it to 7.4-7.8. My RO water showed 3-4PPM, after running through this filter it showed approx. 9-11ppm. Overall it does it's job, not sure how long it will last. Will monitor the PPM to find out.

Same as the other reviewers, came without any package or protective film, label was coming off, there is no way this is brand new. Absolutely unacceptable for a water filter.

I have been using a whirlpool RO system for 4 years now, but didn’t realize I haven’t been enjoying it until I installed Apec’s remineralization in-line cartridge. Water is so smooth and easy to drink now. Ice cubes lost a little clarity but that’s fine. Everything tastes better, Coffee, pasta from cooking with the water, even water by itself. Installation is simple, install as your LAST stage before hitting the tap. I did not set this to feed my tank for fear of excess buildup in the bladder, keep in mind the line feeding your tank is a 2 way flow so I don’t think that won’t work well with this cartridge. Install after your post filter. Only reason I dropped 1 star down to 4 total is there is a pretty significant drop in delivered water pressure to the tap after installing. I knew this would happen ahead of installation, but it was pretty significant. I had to replace after about 5 or 6 months as my ice maker in my Kitchen Aid refrigerator stopped making ice for lack of pressure. Installed the replacement APEC remineralization and about a half hour later I heard the water feeding again to the ice maker. Overall, still worth it. For APEC, I would love to see what’s going on inside this filter. Have you considered a transparent filter housing? Just my curiosity kicking in. Would love to inside this thing as water is filtering through. Does the Calcite dissolve over time? Thanks APEC team for a better tasting RO experience.
