TOP UP DIFFICULTY RESOLVED
I purchased 2 of these for my parents who prefer pay as you go service for their mobile phones. One of these worked and could be topped up immediatly, the other one would not top up. After speaking to O2 they advised me the SIM was not able to be activated as it had probably expired. The card was marked in date until Nov 26. I contacted the seller who advised that sometimes the SIM needs to be in the phone for 24 hours before topping up with a bank card is possible. My experience was that it took longer than 24 hours to enable the card top up. I have since tried to top up the SIM on advice from seller. This time it worked. The seller was prompt responding to my messages. I am content I have two SIMs working. If you order these, you need to be aware that you may have to wait a couple of days before you can top up by card.

Beware of this scam! I bought this SIM card for my 13-year-old son who only uses a phone for calls and texts. We prepaid 10 pounds the first time and everything went smoothly. My son's credit was almost depleted, so we wanted to top up with another 10 pounds. The 10 pounds were deducted, but the phone wasn't topped up, and three days later they withdrew another 49 pounds. It's impossible to contact them to find out what happened.

It works fine IF you top up in store only.
From new I couldn't top this up on line but went into an O2 shop who did it in 2 minutes. It's working fine now. The O2 staff said they are phasing this classic tariff out, so you can only top up in shop.Its intended to put you off. Or the shop can sell you a cheap monthly deal that you won't find on line.
