Bestten updated this power strip. The design is much better than the one I originally received. The contacts in the receptacles now engage plugs in a way that inspires confidence in the connections. In general, the construction is very good. I feel like this is a power strip I can trust._____The construction of this product looks good, and it was easy to mount. The design of the electrical sockets is strange, though, and I probably won't get more outlet strips from this brand as a result.When you insert electrical plugs into the strip's outlets, they don't encounter any physical resistance until they're almost all the way in. It feels like the electrical contacts in the receptacles are deep within rectangular holes. That causes two issues.First, I bought the strip to use under a desktop, facing down. Positioned that way, some plugs fall right out of the strip. Second, it doesn't feel like there is a lot of contact area between the sockets and the things I've plugged in. That isn't a problem for lower wattage devices. I would not use a strip like this with high wattage devices, like power tools.

I have had no issues at all. It is very heavy duty. There is plenty of space between plugs to fit larger power supplies into. The direction of the plugs helps to keep cords untangled. It affixed easily to the underside of my desk. The extra long cord meant being able to move furniture without having to worry about plug location. I love this so much I am ordering another one for my woodshop. I highly recommend this. After picking it up on a lightening deal and loving it so much I didn't even mind having to pay full price. It is worth every bit of the price.

This was nicer than I expected. The finish on the aluminum channel was very nice. There were some odd things about the mounting. It came with the expected two brackets, 4 wood screws, 4 threaded screws and two tapped metal bars that the threaded screws fit. The instructions show putting two screws per mounting bracket, but their was only one hole in each mounting bracket. I used one wood screw per bracket and it is working. The metal bars are not mentioned in the instructions. I liked this so much I bought 2 more of them. It turned out that a computer desk I already had was the perfect fit for this. A metal section at the back underneath the glass top had perferations that I could put the mounting screws through and it just snapped in place once the mounting hardware was installed. It was also the perfect length as it went all the way across the back of desk, like it was made to be there.

First let me say...This listing had several very different outlets to choose from but it has comingled the questions and the reviews, so make sure the question or review you read is for the product you want to purchase.I purchased the 12 plug outlet with a 15 ft cord and a surge protector. In the description it says it has a surge protector, you can not identify it having one by looking at the product. I guess it's there.It does have an on off switch that lights up when on.The plugs have 1 1/4 in of space between them. I am using mine to plug in a bunch of security cameras. My transformer boxes are 2 1/14 wide and barely fit. I have to bend the rubber exiting the box that encases the wire up to make them fit, Pay attention to the direction of the plugs of the outlet compared to the transformer boxes you have and the position of the wire exiting your transformer box, some may not work with this outlet. I wish I would have looked at mine a little closer, I would have bought a different model.Overall it appears to be sturdy. The cord is pretty heavy with tight prongs that fit the wall plug well.There are mounting brackets and some small screws, I did not use them.

I live in an old house and my desk is in a room that has 2 outlets. Both of these outlets are on the left wall while my desk is on the right. This surge protector has been amazing. I ran it around the baseboard and used command strips to stick it to the bottom of my desk. I have a computer, monitor, speakers, a usb hub, lamp, iPhone charger, and PlayStation controller charger on it and it works great and has stood up to my use and several power outages. I’ve had it for almost a year and I love it

I use this strip for all my indoor Christmas lighting needs: Nativity scene, inside lights, and Christmas village (no Christmas tree - I have four cats). The brackets came with it, but I did not need to use them. My one complaint is that the packing was missing, and there are tiny bits of chipped plastic on one end of the strip. However, this does not effect the performance of the outlet, and the product works fine. Also, the price is right, so I give it five stars.

I have a bit of a server rack in my basement, and all of the PCs and NAS boxes need someplace to plug into, and this does the trick. It offers a lot of plugs and the spacing generally works for wall warts (the plug orientation could be rotated 90 degrees for even better accommodation). The cord is ample, and it all is well made. The rest is basic power strip stuff.

EDITED REVIEWUpon seeing my original review I was contacted by the seller and they sent me a replacement/upgraded version to try at no charge. (the 20 outlet surge protector to be exact) they have exceeded my expectations in customer support and the new item works with no problem!Good quality product. Only one very frustrating problem. The outlets will not let anything plug in fully without having to strongarm them or work them around inside the outlet. I have managed to get 3 items plugged in and am struggling with a 4th. Shouldn't they just slide in fully without problems? I have 2 of them and they both are like this.

Original review:Opened the box to find a screw floating around in there. Tracked it down to the housing.Brackets missing (which is what I purchased this bar for in the first place).Looks like it may have been a returned item and simply repackaged without a check for quality.Don't trust myself to plug this in and therefore cannot give a proper review until speaking with seller.Other than that, it feels like a solid bar. Aluminum housing is satisfying. Heavy duty extension cable.Update:Customer service is fantastic (and based in BC, it seems). They had shipped out the missing mount, screws, etc immediately after contacting them, free of charge. The mount seems pretty solid, but unfortunately my desk is from Ikea and not suitable to carrying it's length unless near the outer edge of the desk (which I don't have space for).I will be using it for another purpose and have to get another power bar in the meantime.That being said, it's a solid bar, I just wish I could use it as I originally intended.

Needed a power power for behind a media center, it had to have a ton of ports with space between each outlet and a thin form factor to fit under the cabinet.This checked all the boxes and delivered.

Purchased for my server rack to attach to the side allowing the servers to have an easy to plug in channel rather than connecting to the bottom of my rack to the UPS. The product is solid and is a nice attachment for any work area or server area.

this product design appears identical to a unit I had before, made using aluminium stock. It was exposed to salt and corrosion and it still worked, I expect the same durability for this unit. It comes with a pair of mounting clips robust enough for most applications. easy to install. About the same cost as i paid long ago if adjusted for inflation. Needed it for the cord length.

This product was listed as an Amazon favourite (Can't recall the exact terminology). But definitely a good value for the product. Having read some reviewers prior to purchase, a couple of commenters noted that the on/off switch felt a bit cheap initially...so I knew upfront to expect that, but I have no complaints with the product. Bought 5 - I'm sure they'll serve our company's needs well.
