I liked their other books better specially going to the doctor. This was okay could have been better

My toddler absolutely loved reading Big Steps Going to the Dentist! The story is fun and reassuring, making the idea of a dental check-up less scary for little ones. After reading it a few times, my toddler is much more comfortable with teeth brushing and even lets me floss his teeth now, something that was a real challenge before. The colorful illustrations and simple language are perfect for toddlers, and it’s become a bedtime favorite. Highly recommend this book to any parent trying to ease their child into good dental habits!

This book helped my little one learn to love brushing his teeth and made his first dentist visit a huge success

My son loves this and helped him to understand the process of going to the dentist and what would happen there before he went for his first visit. Because of COVID we hadn't been able to take him when his first teeth came through and it took an age to get him an appointment when we eventually could go meaning he was already 3 with all the usual fears and anxieties about things like this. The fun nature of the book with the flaps and moving parts meant he was actually looking forward to his appointment and getting to go up and down in the chair. He enjoyed it so much he wanted to immediately go back! He still reads this a lot and engages with us relating what's in the book to his experience which is brilliant. I would definitely recommend this and the others in the Big Steps series.
