Useful reference textbook
I was looking for an equivalent of a German book my girlfriend was reading called Baby Jahre by Remo H Largo, which doesn't have an English translation, which contains lots of anecdotes and theories about the early years of childhood. Mary Sheridan's book is more of a reference textbook for early years professionals and is purely factual. Useful nonetheless.

This book is not worth the full price to pay.
The amount of information provided is insufficient, with a concise and generic nature that fails to differentiate it from content in other educational books.

I like the knowledge this books shares. I imagine the book being bigger than it was. There just isn’t as much information as I thought. The book feels good in your hand. It has a good quality print ink. It is easy to read. It tells you what you need to know.

This is an excellent book and reference guide for developmental milestones. However, my purchase did not come with an access code to the companion site mentioned in the book. This would be a 5 Star review if I had an access code.
