Fitted to our 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5. Pretty straightforward. Decent quality. Good cable length. Using the Vantrue N5 it’s performing well in parking mode, so far. A bit annoying to have to pay extra on top of the dashcam for this part, so not amazing value for money.No need to piggyback on fuses since this car has 2 spare fuse slots. I did try putting a fuse into it and it was extremely hard to get in and got stuck. I had to break the fuse to get it back out.Route down the drivers side and into the fuse box under the dash. Easy to crimp cables by pushing together.Be sure to ground using the bolt on the right side behind the hard plastic trim. Do NOT attempt to loosen the nut on the upper left of the fuse box (Irish car - RHD). This is part of the steering wheel height adjustment assembly for the steering column and parts will spring off the bolt if you remove the nut.Check the fuse box diagram for the SPARE fuse ports. Left one was for yellow wire and right for red wire. Use a multimeter to be sure you have the right ones. Good luck.

Easy to install if you have the tools to find the right fuse slots. Prevents battery from draining which is for its made for.

Installed by a professional and worked great for a year. Failed after just over a year - camera power cycles on and off, whether ignition is on or off, therefore unknowingly drained the car battery completely flat damaging it to the point the car wouldn't start and the battery wouldn't charge. Required an expensive replacement.Don't recommend using the "parking" feature - leave it only connected to circuits that turn on with ignition not continuous powered ones.

Official product so no excuse for electrical infidelity. Only a small markup on the other cheaper chinese products nowadays. Very good length on the cables plenty of slack. Good quality fuse taps.We wanted hardwire for the cleanest install, but not the parking mode as don't want to drain the 12V battery. You can avoid the permanent BAT+ connection draining your battery if you piggyback this red lead fuse tap onto the fuse tap for the yellow ACC lead. Then the camera will only turn on when the ignition is on, as normally would with the cigarette lighter connection.

Little over priced but needed to run vantrue dash cam easy to wire in comes with different size fuses, would look at tutorials before trying this installation if your doing this by yourself just take your time and all your hard work will pay off (it’s not a 5min job)
