Lots of sparkle (great sizzle)
I have been wanting to stop drinking Mountain Dew for years (or at least cut WAY back), but every time I try to quit I always end up going back because I miss the sizzle of carbonated soda. Gatorade or plain water just doesn't have enough pizzazz for my palette. A couple of years ago I never would have considered sparkling water as a realistic alternative to soda. I hate diet soda, so I assumed that sparkling water would be terrible. But after just 2 or 3 weeks of drinking this stuff, I am convinced it will do the trick. This Talking Rain brand has every bit as much sizzle as I get out of a can of Mountain Dew (possibly more), and I love that. And surprisingly, it doesn't really seem like I'm missing any flavor or anything. It's weird I know. You would think that without all the sugar that it would be a total system shock to drink just water, but for me, it has not been a shock at all. For now, I'm still drinking some Mountain Dew here and there due to caffeine addiction, but I'm hoping to get away from it completely. The only downside to this is that it costs 2x more than soda. Ouch! I hated how much I was spending on soda as it was, so it's no comfort that I'll now be doubling that expense. However, there are other factors to consider such as dental health and over all health in general. As far as comparative shopping goes, I don't have anything to compare with as of yet since I haven't tried any other brands. (I have more brands on order so I can compare later.) But what I'm looking for is the most *burn* I can find. I crave the sizzle sensation that comes from opening a fresh, cold can of sparkling water. And so far, this Talking Rain brand has proven to have lots of sparkly sizzle! There's no assurance that everyone will share my thoughts and opinions, but you can't go wrong in giving it a try 1 time.

Canned water. Awesome.
I was thinking to myself the other day "Why don't they make canned water?"Well, now they do! My only complaint is this is carbonated water and I would prefer just plain water in a can, but I can deal with a bit of the bubbly. The cans arrived on time with no dents. My purpose for these was to keep with my other canned food in case of hurricanes or other emergencies where I may lose power and utilities to my home.Unfortunately these are so tasty I have been drinking them every day, ruining any plans I had for long term storage. I really like that there are no additives, no corn syrup, and no artificial sweeteners. Just delicious, bubbly, water.EDIT 10/2012 - I have now ordered 4 shipments of this water, and have received only one shipment that was not damaged or leaking. The most recent shipment had 4 cans burst, soaking everything in the package. Thankfully there was nothing else in the box (like food or electronics) that was damaged. The one shipment that was not damaged came in about 7 layers of bubble wrap. All the others (the leaky ones) had only a single layer of wrap, which is not even close to being adequate protection. My UPS guy gets rather concerned when packages make hissing noises and leak fluid all over his truck... he was relieved when I informed him it was just water. Until Amazon fixes their packaging issues I will not be ordering this product again.

Most affordable sparkling water. Shipped free!
Super Saver shipping makes this one heck of a deal.I love water, and I love Soda, who doesn't love Soda? But the problem is the sugar... Sparkling water satisfies my thirst for bubbles/fizz in my beverage but buying it at the grocery store can be just as expensive as buying soda. Then i found this sweet deal on Amazon.I read some reviews from people who obviously never had "sparkling water" before... what NOOBS!!! *facepalm*. Sparkling water HAS a "taste", some people don't like it. If you are one of those people, you were looking for WATER, not sparkling water! All sparkling/seltzer water taste the same, no matter what brand. The benefit here is that its really cheap.PLEASE, DO NOT confuse sparkling water with "tonic water". These are two different things. They look and feel the same, but taste much different. They are made differently too, (see: greatist.com/health/dangerfood-tonic-water-032712/). If you don't like sparkling water you will probably HATE the sour taste of Tonic water. They are easily confused because they appear to be the same, but they aren't.PRODUCT CONS: I noticed that the effervescence of Talking Rain faded away very quickly compared to "other waters" I consume. So if you open a can, you have to consume it quickly or else it will just be warm and flat. No good. That is it! I am glad I found this product!!!

Superior Brand at Reasonable Price..Airrived in Perfect Condition!
Much has been written about the condition in which this product arrives. So much so, I feel the need to address that issue. I read the comments on damaged arrivals, but I have had enough experience with Amazon's "continally improving" mind set to believe they had corrected the problem, with "Amazon fulfilled" orders, or by proxy. They have. It arrived in perffect condition....remember...punctures are the singluar issue and there were none. *****the water is wonderful! I am using it paired with Torani's flavored syrups (sugar free in my case) to kick my soda jones. What wonderful solution! The flavor of the water is great: the sparkling aspect is delightful and DOES last for the entire glass full. If you are the only person drinking sparkling water, you might stick with bottles or cans that are single serve size. Ordering large bottles, drinking a glass and then coming back days later only to complain that the water is flat, seems a little unrealistic! So, this size is perfect...plenty of "sparkle" every time! The price is SO reasonable, especially for "to your door" service. I think we owe Amazon a huge thank you for even offering this item online. For disabled shut-ins, like me, or for those unable or unwilling to lug home cases of sparkling water, offering this delivered to your door is a fantastic service. Enjoy!
