I won’t rate them poorly because they DO give you the dimensions, but these are just way too big for your standard issue gatefold.The photo is a very sturdy heavy cardboard Tone Poet gatefold of a Dexter Gordon record. My fingertip is at the edge of the LP cover, top end, with the jacket pressed all the way to the bottom of this sleeve. There’s nearly an inch of extra space. It’s a similar fit even with large, heavy Music Matters Jazz reissues.It’s more like putting your gatefolds in a bag then a sleeve.Too much is probably better than not enough, but when you’re sliding a bunch of these into a IKEA Kallax bookshelf, they just tend to slide right off the LP.Nevertheless they DID post the measurements and they are accurate. But for anything but the largest triple albums or thin box sets, they are overkill.The quality is decent and the price is right otherwise. If you need HUGE outer sleeves, these are fine. If you collect audiophile jazz reissues like me, look elsewhere unless you don’t mind baggy sleeves.Really wish MoFi made a slightly larger outer sleeve.

I ordered these as I have quite a lot of box sets, most of them within the 1.25” thickness this product says it can accommodate. Great, they will all be protected and I’ll have loads left over for future purchases, all for a reasonable price. Then they arrived. First impression was great quality and very sturdy, but just by looking at one after I’d taken it out of the packet I could tell they were too small.Well, I tried one on a box set about 3/4” thick, and no, it wouldn’t fit! Whaaat? There should have been half an inch to spare! That’s it, most of my box sets would remain out of sleeves. These worked for a few, much thinner sets, and also some double and triple albums (although they were tight with some of the latter). So I have decided to keep them, as I can use them, just not for what I wanted, and they’re still a decent price for those uses.Had these been advertised correctly, I would have given 5 stars, as they are fantastic for those thinner boxes and double and most triple albums, and great quality, all at a very reasonable price. But by severely over-stating the size of box sets they can take, I can only be disappointed. If you want to protect those thin sets and double albums, absolutely buy them. If you want to protect bigger box sets DO NOT BUY.I’ve now gone to buy the size I actually want from another seller on another site, who I know sells the sizes he advertises.

I needed oversized outer sleeves to accommodate some of my thicker gatefolds and boxsets, so I bought these. They work wonderfully and they slip right in with no hassle. Now my Beatles White Album and others can stay protected for the years to come!

The media could not be loaded.  These fit regular albums w extra room. These also fit the thicker double items. I have some in boxes nearly an inch thick and they fit perfectly.Good plastic/thickness, quality item. Get these if you value your investment collection and need protection.

Ordinary sleeves were too tight to fit the 3 LP Beatles' Mono Masters set but it slid right into one of these sleeves with room to spare; highly recommended for those thicker 3 LP sets or even boxed sets.

I was able to fit one of these onto a LaserDisc box set which is about half an inch thick. It was a tight fit, so definitely not something you want to mess with regularly, but perfectly adequate for your infrequently used box sets. For a normal oversized album, these fit much better and are easy to put on.PROS:Heavy duty plastic will protect your records.I have not had any issues with these sleeves adding static to my records.CONS:These are VERY slippery, so a stack of them will fall over if you so much as look at them wrong.

I previously ordered standard sleeves for my single LP records. However, for my gatefold records of any kind the standard sleeves would put too much stress on them so I just left them out of the sleeves and discovered these the other day. Ordered them, they arrived perfectly. They have a lot of excess space so it fits on loosely not putting too much stress on them so they don’t warp. Perfect sleeves.

These are my go to LP sleeves for double LPs and Gatefold LPs. They fit perfectly and they don't simply come apart when you put an LP in at a slight angle (as some of the cheaper sleeves do, which is really frustrating). Your LPs will stay in good shape. It's worth paying a little extra to get a sturdy sleeve. These fit the bill. You could pay more, but they likely won't give you more than what you get with these sleeves.
