I wasn't quite sure what we were getting but when it arrived was pleasantly surprised. I thought we had ordered the bread bags but ended up with the potato, onion and garlic bags, which is perfect. While bread doesn't typica;;y stay around long enough in our house to worry about it going bad, but potatoes, onions and garlic are items we are throwing out monthly. Buying them by the pound is generally more expensive than buying a pre-weighed bag, even if we do not use them all. However I dislike paying for something that I then have to discard, even if I feel we had our moneys worth. Each bag is marked with one of the vegetables, with 2 large and 1 smaller bag. The smaller bag is for the garlic and each bag has a drawstring closure and on the bottom of one side a zipper opening/closure that allows you to remove from the bottom of the bag. Each bag feels to be made of a lighter canvas or perhaps muslin and a dark liner inside to precent light exposure which helps prevent growth. This allows you to store root vegetables for longer with out worrying about eyes or rooting starting to occur. The bags are constructed well with double stitching and zigzag stitching along the seams. That means even with a full amount in each bag, they hold about 10lbs each, they should hold up just fine. They look great and will match the decor of almost any kitchen, especially those who have gone for a more country/rustic look and at about $6.99 each they are worth the money. They do have a looped drawstring if you choose to hang the bags up but I was hoping they might have a gromit/reinforced hole in a corner or on a flap somewhere. Overall they look nice and are well constructed but they should also help save your veggies from the trash bins.

I was looking for a perfect bread basket for years - and it was worth the wait! The fabric “lid” or covering on top keeps the bread fresh but doesn’t allow moisture to accumulate. It’s easy to clean and you can also cut and serve bread on the table in it, then just cover to store. Much much easier (and prettier) than bulky bread storage spaces - we love it!

It is very cute and useful, We used it for Thanksgiving, and it kept the dinner rolls warm.

These are great! I got another set last year but as you can see in my pic, the potato bag was so small it only held a few potatoes. These bags are nice and large and easily hold a 5 pound bag of taters or onions, I buy in bulk so these suit my needs very well. They are a linen type cotton outside with a black lining made of some pressed material which my other ones had too, if you wash them use cool water and lay flat to dry or they will shrink. These have a toggle cinch rope and a side access zipper to reach the bottom. They work great and look nice with the design on them, so glad to have large cotton produce storage bags, makes veg last much longer because they breath and don’t hold moisture that rots taters and onions and garlic. Keeps everything contained, no escape onions rotting in the bottom of the drawer. These are great! Now they need to make a sweet potato bag and mushroom bag this same size. Highly recommend
