State Bicycle Co. Fixed Gear/Fixie Bike Cog, Black

I have purchased a couple of these cogs for my Civilian Fixie. I was looking for some lower priced cogs to help find the right gear ratio for street riding. These are okay quality, but they are a little thinner (0.8mm) than similar Origin 8 and Surley track cogs that I've used. This has negatively effected the not so great chain line on my bike. The other brands also have a nicer finish and laser engraved makings for chain width and tooth count.

It's a cog, nothing super special, but it fit perfectly and was well made. It's held up well after many miles of hard use. It is also priced reasonably.

Perfect! Works well on the standard hub thread. Make sure you have a locking nut because this does not come with one. I got the 13t for my fixed gear project and it works well. Seems to be made of high quality material. No rounding or any damage so far.

Works like it’s supposed to. Cog only, no lock ring.

Low price and perfect function make up for the rough machining and slightly less than round shape

It fit as described but why wouldn't it. Good for the price if you're looking just to see if this is a ride-able gear.

Product is exactly what i need to get a better ratio.

I bought 13 to 16 tooth cog. I only tried the 15 teeth cog and the shape of the cog is more oval than round. So the chain don't have go tension trough all the padal stroke. At some point, the chain is too tight and at an other point, the chain is too slack (a lot).Very desapointed for a compagny has State. Want to be refound.

Feels very solid, with that said I purchased it to be a spare so I have nothing more to say until the future.

Works great but the material quality is alright.
