Completely expanded (with no guide holes visible), it's 17 3/4" long. Rivet spaces are for 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 1 3/4, etc. This one is considered the "mini" and there is another one that expands to a full 27" as well.

So what is the dimensions (smallest spacing to fully expanded)?

Smallest spacing C-to-C is 0.495" (12.57mm). Largest spacing C-to-C is 1.914" (48.61mm). You can do spacings over 1.914" but you have to skip a hole.
