MECOOL KM2 Android 10.0 TV Box Netflix 4K ATV Decoder Amlogic S905X2 Streaming Media Player Widevine L1 TVBOX with Voice Remote

I have a 4K firestick in the same location and my firestick struggles to get 80mb of a 350mb service. The Mecool KM2 gets almost 330mb. This is a deal breaker for me as most of the content I watch is in 4K. My only gripe with the device is that I am unable to connect the remote to my TV, but this may be fixed in a future update. I was a long time Firestick fan, but I am going to stick with the Mecool KM2 for now. I can confirm netflix works in 4K along with Youtube & Amazon Prime Video Pros : Fast wifi speeds. Feels really well built. No lag in the UI (I did switch off all animations in Dev tools) really snappy and responsive. Clean looking homescreen (Firestick to busy for my liking) Cons : Unable to control the TV with the remote (which I can with the Firestick remote) Not able to re-map the buttons on the remote. Overall really pleased with it. ***UPDATE DEC 2021*** The remote is now able to control my TV (On/Off/Vol-/Vol+/Mute/Input) Still working flawlessly.

Excellent box. Official google makes a big difference. Remote is classic. Playback and layout teriffic. Chromecast built in. Supported apps like I say is huge. You can have the homescreen just the way you like it without forced apps like some unnamed android devices *ahem*!. Performance akin to Nvidia Shield and that's saying something. If you're considering and on the fence about this just go for it, you won't regret it.

Got rid of SKY, and wanted TV - this handles android play app download where i have free tv and movies. it allows PRIME and YOUTUBE by default, and I now added DISNEY+ which is ALL the TV I need. Apps can be added through play store. Has a chromecast system, and 4K (I have 1080p TV). Connect via WIFI or CABLE. VERY EASY setup, all automated. Happy as a PIG in MUCK

By no means the best out there, but does a good enough job

Don't be fooled by the hype on this product. The software is great Andriod TV, but the build quality of this product is just like every other Chinese TV Box a load of rubbish that will not last, mine packed up after 3 weeks.

Really at this price nothing comes close, remember this is an Android TV device though so won't run all native Android apps but if you are after a dedicated streaming box this is it. Install downloader and install smart tube for advert free YouTube that even skips inline creator made product sponsor segments, it comes with VLC pre installed so will see your network and allow you to access your media, still issues with Kodi and smb access so better to avoid Kodi for now. The unit is very fast with a nice clean advert free home screen, voice control not only searches for content but will also start and play content so from the home screen you can say play stranger things and assuming you have Netflix installed it will start and play stranger things on Netflix, very useful for those with a disability. You can side load IPTV apps, VPN apps,it comes with prime pre loaded, all running in 4K if required. The player comes with a hdmi cable, note that the device is hdmi 2.1 so if you are using this with a hdmi switcher check the switcher supports it else you will need to plug direct in to the TV. Using the button mapper app you can remap some buttons on the remote but not you cannot remap the dedicated Netflix, Prime buttons for some reason which is a shame, you can also add multiple remotes and you can configure the remote to control basic functions of your TV. Only thing I can mark it down on is the lack of supplied batteries for the remote, it only takes 2 AAA cells but cmon? I can't see anything that beats this at this price at the moment, ditch your clunky and slow and restricted TV home page and treat yourself to this, I honestly can't believe Amazon allow this to sit next to their product line up of streamers on here. Get it before it sells out.

The MeCool KM2 Android box does not disappoint. Unlike a lot of cheap Chinese boxes, this one allows full UHD access to registered streaming apps such as Netflix, Youtube, Prime etc. and streams without a problem. The voice control works well and is useful for browsing within Netflix and the like. It has the usual Android TV opening menu allowing you to customise and has access to Google Play Store enabling you to download additional apps. If you feel the need, you of course can side load 3rd party apps that are not available from the store. It is quick to respond to the buttons on the remote control and in my opnion is great value for money.

Ne ho provati molti di questi scatolini Android TV, alcuni che dichiaravano prestazioni maggiori di questo. Ma alla fine ognuno aveva qualche problemino con cui si doveva convivere. Diciamo che il problema principale di quasi tutti era di non poter aggiornare Netflix tramite PlayStore, motivo per cui uso maggiormente il dispositivo. Inoltre su alcuni, Netflix funzionava ma non benissimo (nell'ultimo provato ad esempio non era possibile fare comparire i menu mentre un film era in riproduzione). Questo invece funziona. Semplicemente funziona. Non e' lento come potrebbe sembrare dalle specifiche. Ovviamente non ci installo videogiochi e lo uso solo per guardare video e film. Ma per questo lavoro è estremamente soddisfacente. Se devo trovargli un difetto è il fatto che il telecomando è dotato di microfono per poter usare il Google assistant (cosa che a me personalmente non garba affatto di usare e neppure che sia attivo). Cambiare il telecomando era un peccato perchè per il resto funziona veramente bene. Ho risolto togliendo a Google assistant tutti i permessi di accesso all'hardware. Diciamo che avrei preferito una opzione più semplice anche se capisco che alla maggior parte delle persone questo aspetto non importi affatto. Nel complesso molto soddisfatto.

Las aplicaciones son certificadas y solo hay esas en en el Google play que trae. Si quieres instalar otras, envía la apk desde el móvil y la instalas. Este box tv es una pasada. He visto que se quejan del sonido, a mi me va perfecto
