Bought this parasol 6 weeks ago. Today when I was raising the parasol it snapped just above the join, fell and hit me on the head. If it had hit a child it could have been nasty. I have had other parasols for years without issue.This is a poorly made, cheap product and as with all things in life, you get what you pay for.I have requested a full refund and will see how reputable the supplier truly is.In the meantime I'd avoid this product totally.

DO NOT BUY THIS. This is a VERY, VERY poor quality umbrella. The depth of the screw is 15mm, which is used to attach the two halves together. The height of the parasol is close to 2600mm,so nowhere near deep enough to support the weight of the parasol. You can see the top wobbling around on the lower half.I requested a full refund five weeks ago. This company have messed me about, expecting me to pay to return a faulty item. Then when they eventually agreed to collect it, failed to show up on the agreed day. Then 3 days later a rude, dismissive guy turned up saying 'its not my fault! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Arrived on time. The Finial on the top unable to be fitted due to no hole and broken screw.But can't be hassled to return. Apart from that all ok.

For the last three years I have had two metal framed large sun shades. You would think that this is better than wood because it wont rot or break easily. However, these very expensive sun shades did not rot, but sadly, they had tilt mechanisms which I did not want, but could not find without, and they both broke in strong winds. This sunshade does not have a tilt mechanism and will last me for years. Just what I wanted.

This is a large parasol and is made from strong wood so will last. I have had several metal parasols and the wind blows them inside out and they are finished.This will be in use for years I suspect. very good value and well made.

Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect from this umbrella.I needed a quick replacement for one that had broken.I am pleasantly surprised by the quality as it wasn't expensive and the prompt delivery.

Very happy. Couldn’t find one anywhere for a reasonable price. We have to cut down a bit to fit out setting but as it’s wood this will be easy.

Liked the speed of delivery and how easy it was to put together. Fabric bit flimsy don’t know if it will keep water out. Also you need to be at least 6ft tall to put the stopper in pole to keep umbrella up. Can’t reach when it’s in centre of table. Going to have to saw at least 4-5 inches off pole . Cheap price but you get what you pay for.
