I recently purchased some of this 'new' NEU. I say 'new' because the formula is different from the last time I bought it. I suspect buyers reading these reviews will be confused because many posts seem to be in reference to the previous formula. For this reason, the one currently for sale is the one I will comment on; it is the one that has 800 mg of N-Acetyle L-Tyrosine, 500 mg of Acetyl L-Carnitine, 300 mg of AlphaSize Alpha-Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline, 250 mg of L-Theanine, and 250 mg of Organic Caffeine.As I said, I have tried the previous formula which had a few more ingredients, but this version currently sold is much more potent with higher doses of most of the ingredients.I will start by saying that I'm an avid fan of energy drinks and more recently have delved into the world of nootropics; and in my opinion, this is a perfect merger between the two (oh boy, now I sound like I work for them). Let's first talk about the caffeine, an all important component to energy drinks. A typical 8 fl oz can of an energy drink has about 80 mg of caffeine; 160 mg in a 16 fl oz can. So this is basically like a 24 ounce dose. However, every so often when I drink a 16 ounce energy drink I get jitters (doesn't happen with 8 ounce SKUs); which I think is from the combination of caffeine and sugar. Not the case with NEU; which I guess can be attributed to the fact that this is sugar free and packs a number of other brain ingredients which may balance out the jolt from caffeine. Thus, I have to say the dose of caffeine is spot on!Which brings me to the next part of the review, the nootropic benefits. While it's hard to really determine which of these ingredients are working for my brain and which aren't; I can say that, without a doubt, the combination of them all is on point! I can definitely feel some additional focus going on that I otherwise never get with traditional energy drinks.And finally, I want to review the taste. As I mentioned before, some of the other, older reviewers must be referencing the previous formula when they claim they didn't like the taste. I've have many energy shots in my day, and while most are far from palatable, it should still taste decent on the way down. That said, in my opinion, the best way to gauge if a shot tastes good is to determine if you can sip it instead of…uh…shoot it. A harsh flavored shot is very difficult to sip and drink slowly. Thus, under this self-prescribed test, Neu is very 'sippable'.All things considered, NEU get's five stars from me.

Taste takes some getting used to in the beginning (it's pretty potent), but overall not a bad product! If you're hoping for "Limitless" effects, then you will be disappointed, but if you want a drink that provides excellent nutrients and nourishment for your brain, then I recommend you try it out!

Was very happy with this product; it performed as advertised. A strong, effective nootropic boost that provided sustained focus, energy, and alertness for several hours without the crash (you know the crash I'm talking about that plagues energy drinks such as Redbull and 5-Hour Energy). Although the taste wasn't amazing, I was more than happy to trade it for no added sugar and a calorie free drink. Complaints about the taste are extremely over exaggerated. When compared to a cup of coffee or a Redbull to maintain drive and focus throughout the day this is a much better option and well worth the price. Will definitely purchase again.

Omg, I love this stuff!! Honestly, as a nurse working 12 shifts, I need all the ENERGY and FOCUS I can get!! I normally drink coffee (multiple cups a day) and would be left crashing before noon! But not with NEU! Ever since I have started drinking NEU, I am more on top of my game and never feeling the downer effect I got from coffee.. not only that, but now that I don’t drink coffee anymore, my teeth stay white lol I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but trust me it is!! I highly recommend this product because it is more than an energy shot.. it truly is like mental motivation in a little shot and it actually tastes great!!

This stuff tastes like rancid chemicals and the aftertaste just gets worse with a dry bitter pitch. It is clearly not expired as my picture shows and should have no issues regarding going bad. I tried two sips and I couldn't stomach anymore, it has already given me a headache after 10 minutes.I chose this for a cheaper option to 5 hour, the touted health benefits, and supposed good taste. But don't be fooled by the cool bottle design or the other claims. Try if you don't mind wasting $30 or have no taste buds left.

NEU was shipped quickly and arrived when I expected it. First off, I was surprised by how much I liked the taste of it considering other reviews and the company itself mentions that it is a bit bitter. I actually LOVE the taste.The effect on my focus was beyond what I expected. I felt it immediately. The best way to describe it is a warm rush that's coupled with a boost in concentration. I could notice it working which is so rare with these focus products.I have tried: Neuro Fuel, Neuro Sonic, TruBrain, Mental Mojo, Focus Aid, and other similar Nootropic enhanced shots or drinks (and supplements) and NEU is my favorite so far out of all of them! The blend is quality, they care about the customer experience, and most importantly, the effect is powerful! The product is definitely worth using and delivered as promised.Very happy overall

Didn't notice any difference then from drinking an energy drink except there was no crash which was nice. They have priced themselves out of the nootropic market because a 30 day supply of this would cost you 10x more then any pill form. One big advantage is the liquid form will work faster and you will absorb more of the ingredients into your bloodstream. To me it's just to expensive to stock a 30 day supply and with nootropics they need to build in your system so you must take them daily to ever get the true effects. It did taste pretty good however.
