Love it
I use it primarily for work cutting fruits and vegetables and it works wonderful. It has a nice weight that makes it easy to thwack a watermelon open. It’s easy to keep sharp and feels nice.

I love this chopper/cleaver!
I haven't used it much to find out about it's durability.... otherwise I would give it 5 stars. It's a beautiful knife and seems built very well with German steel.I think it's also a great knife for the value as well!I'm definitely buying another one from these line of knives.

a large, beautiful, well-balanced, premium steel butcher-ish chef's knife
First of all, it exceeds any reasonable expectation for a knife of this price, or anywhere near it.The steel is premium. It came sharp. It is a big, beautiful, well-balanced knife. Every time I use it I get a little tingle (okay I'm weird). I prefer it over the Wstf 10" Extra Wide I have. The shape is a bit on the butcher-ish side. I don't mind, it's a nice change, but if you're looking for a classic chef's knife, this is a little different.

Comfortable grip, wicked sharp edge
I'm a weekend wannabe chef/home cook. I bought this for my old, achy hands. The fatter, rounded grip did the trick and keeps my hands comfortable for longer periods. I was also amazed at the edge it came with and it seems to be holding very well. I'm very pleased with the quality I received for the price point I paid.

Super High Quality
This is the sharpest knife I have ever purchased. Very high quality steel. It's bigger than I expected, and very intimidating, definitely not for people having little experience with very sharp, fine, cutlery as you could very easily lose a finger. Personally I would be much happier with a smaller knife, however there are times when a large knife is needed.

Extremely durable, and extremely sharp. Highly recommended.
A few days after I got this knife I helped my dad butcher a Whitetail Deer he shot. This knife is amazing. It cut through bones, ribs, legs, not a single chip in the blade. It just needed a little sharpening afterwards and is so sharp I can cut through things just by using the weight of the blade with a slight slicing movement.I highly recommend this knife, it’s not lightweight, but it’s extremely durable. This will be a knife I use the rest of my life.
