I'm an amateur woodworker for a hobby. Last summer, I bought my very first Makita router. I've had a blast creating all kinds of things from furniture to art using a nice starter set of router bits from Harbor Freight. The deeper I've gotten into this hobby, the more I've wanted some different router bits. It seems locally in the big blue or big orange box stores, all you can buy are typical router bits, eg. round overs, the roman ogee, etc. Either that, or they charge an arm and a leg for brand-name router bits ($40+ for a single Bosche bit in the big blue store!). I really wanted some different and unique-shaped router bits without breaking the bank. I found this on Amazon, and have been eying it up for months. Finally I bought it. This is an absolutely awesome set of router bits. They come in a beautiful case. And there's tons of cool router bits typical sets don't have, including the double roman ogee, wave edge, and classic cove (I never see these anywhere!). I used them to create custom baseboards for my bedroom remodel (out of MDF). It came out beautiful. I look forward to using these in more projects. I haven't used them for any wood projects yet, so that will put them to the ultimate test. But I really think they'll be fine. I think this is an amazing set of router bits for the price. For what you'd pay for two brand name router bits in the big box store, you're getting an entire set of router bits. This is perfect for anyone who just does this for hobbies and smaller projects.

Nice set of bits came in a nice case only problem I had was one of the bearings came off of one of the trim bits.

Absolutely love this set. Quality is amazing, extremely sharp, quality of the bits keep them sharp time after time. Great assortment and value. Easy to use. I have done over 400 ft of trim with the same three bits and they’re all just as sharp as when I bought them. I won’t be using any other brand any time soon!

If you use a router then these bits are for you

I've been using these for a while now and none of them have broken yet. I don't use my router a lot but if you do (like on a production cnc) then you wouldn't be looking for cheap bits. If you just need a good set that can get you through the occasional routing job these will do that and come in a nice metal case with a clear plastic front.

I ordered the "MNA Router Bits 35 Pcs Set, 35 Pieces 1/2 Inch Shank Router Bit Kit. American Router Bit Set Complete Set" ASIN B091YJWG8B for $56.99 + tax and was disappointed to see that the 5/8 strait bit in the listing description was not present but instead an additional 1/2 bit (different length). I actually need a 5/8 straight so I then ordered the "KOWOOD Router Bits Sets 35B Pieces, Tungsten Carbide Router Bits 1/2 Inch Shank with Aluminum Storage Case, T Shape Wood Milling Cutter for Woodworking" ASIN B082NXYKM8 for $50.09 + tax after coupon. They are IDENTICAL sets with a different name, neither with the 5/8 straight as advertised. IF you don’t need the 5/8 they really do seem like a decent kit for the money, just order whatever one is less expensive at the time.
