As the secretary at a school, I love the EZ load laminate that is color coded. This makes it simple to change the film, without making mistakes. This laminator is durable, and is simple to use. It is great for all of our projects at our school.

This has been going strong in our local elementary school for about 6 months now. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. It has proven to be very durable after a few user-errors when loading new laminating rolls. Works very well and was a much better price than other big stores that sell office supplies.

Mfgr has added EZ load feature to help change film, that's good.. Using built-in cutter will make film length too short and will cause film to continue threading through a seam in the back panel and wad-up inside. That's bad. This will require removal (4 screws) of back panel to clear blockage. To prevent this from happening, we keep alligator clips weighted with a little fishing weight attached to film where it exits to add a little weight and keep the film from curling around and doing this.

Great laminator which we literally pulled out of the box and used immediately. Easy to replace the laminate. Good product

This is the 3rd laminating machine I have owned, and I have been using roll laminators for well over 10 years. For some reason, after following all directions, the posters always comes out wavy. Over 10 posters have been destroyed, and not a single one came out good, even after trying to rethread the film, and switching top and bottom as it says in the direction. The problem with this machine is that it does not have a manual temperature setting, nor does it have a tension adjuster, both of which are needed to get the most optimized result. My other two laminators had those adjusters. I have used both heated rollers and hot shoe, both of which worked well. But this GBC Ultima 65 wasted my time, my money, and my posters. The other reviews, even video reviews, looked promising which is why we purchased this. But we are very, very disappointed with it. My Dry Lam and my Signature 27 did a way better job, and they never made it this difficult to achieve spectacular results.
