Rust Remover is safe on dyes and should be rinsed with a quality alkaline detergent. Features: Effectively removes rust stains from carpet, upholstery and other textile surfaces or acoustic ceiling tiles. Directions: Apply Rust Remover to a cotton swab or other clean applicator taking precautions not to contact skin. Apply Rust Remover to rust stain with applicator. DO NOT RUB, allow Rust Remover to work. When stain disappears, rinse area thoroughly with 7% ammonia. Blot area with a clean white absorbent cloth. Rinse area with clean water and blot with a clean cloth or paper towel. Discard applicator and blotting cloths in an approved trash receptacle.

Effective at removing rust and for other applications
If you have furniture legs with metal at the base and get "rust" marks, not the bleeding of furniture wood stain, this is your product. Just put on rust spot,agitate and let it sit for a while to neutralize the rust. Sometimes a white towel will help remove the residue and gently rinse with minimum amount of water.
