The media could not be loaded.  Let me tell you a little bit about my everyday hair routine - shampoo, conditioner, frizz ease serum, blow dry and flat iron! Yes, EVERYDAY. I got a Brazilian blowout every few months but that’s not so easy on anyone’s pocket, is it?I tried this and let me just say, my hair routine is now limited to shampoo, conditioner, blow dry! Boom! All I aimed. I’m adding a video you might understand my review a little more with! In short... do not miss this product if you have frizzy and unmanageable hair like mine.

Wow, this stuff really, really works, BUT - as other users warned - the fumes are truly AWFUL during the process (this review will be very long and thorough do skip to the end if that’s all you’re interested in). I included pictures for reference: the first is my hair styled pre-treatment (even flat ironed it still felt slightly “crunchy” after the first day), second is blow dried before doing this treatment, and the last two are after I washed and lightly styled my hair after day three. You can really see the difference!First, the good:For background, my hair is 2b/c, medium thickness with waves and some curl, naturally red but I dye it soft black. I wash my hair about once a week, dry it with a quality blow drier, and use hot tools every day with good heat protectants. I’ve bleached and dyed my hair with both semi-permanent and permanent dyes twice over the past six months, but I’ve been doing my own hair for 15+ years and know how to do it safely and with minimal damage. I had also trimmed my hair about a month before doing this keratin treatment so I’d gotten rid of most of my split ends.It’s been about three weeks post-treatment, and WOW. The results did not disappoint! I used a different highly-rated keratin treatment last year that I also purchased from Amazon, and while it was good, this blows it out of the water. My hair is smooth, silky and my blow drying is cut in half! It takes about 5 minutes with a flat iron on 360 to smooth out any areas that I want really straight or smooth, and my hair still holds a wave or curl that I put in it. I have no flyaways, no frizz, and my hair still has enough body that it doesn’t just hang there like after the last treatment. I took an extra step during the application/flat ironing portion to keep body and volume in my hair, and I’ll detail in a minute.The process:The kit comes with clear instructions - first you wash your hair twice with clarifying shampoo (I use the clear Neutrogena anti-residue shampoo because it’s cheap and it works), then blow dry it straight; section your hair and apply the lotion liberally, combing through with a fine comb to saturate and remove the excess; blow dry your hair straight in sections (a good round brush really helps); finally, flat iron small sections at a time at 400-450 degrees (make sure you’re using a REALLY GOOD flat iron with temp control), going over each section 7-12 times until you no longer see fumes, getting each piece REALLY straight. Then wait overnight or for three days before washing, running your flat iron lightly over your hair once or twice each day to keep it smooth.What I did to keep some body and volume in my hair was to apply the lotion at least an inch from my scalp, and over direct the flat iron during the straightening stage by holding the section up and away from my head and slightly rotating the flat iron like I was going to curl it under, but only at the roots. I did this several times a day during the three day waiting period, and it made a huge difference! If your hair is naturally very curly or kinky it’s recommended to still apply the lotion near the scalp but to over direct the flat iron as I described.Now, ON TO THE BAD:This stuff is TOXIC. When people mentioned “fumes” and needing fans/applying outside, I honestly just figured they were exaggerating because most people aren’t used to doing their own hair. NOPE. Please, please believe me that this stuff is incredibly irritating to your eyes, nose and throat, and you MUST have proper ventilation AND at least one fan blowing away from you when applying and blow drying. I was also dumb and assumed the worst time for the fumes would be during the flat ironing stage, but it’s noxious as soon as you open the bottle. I tried to use swimming goggles without the strap because my eyes burned immediately, but that didn’t work out well; I also wore two disposable masks and still had to tie a kitchen towel over my mouth because my throat was burning like I was breathing acid. I moved out into my living room, opened the patio doors, turned on the ceiling fan and set up two additional standing fans, and I still felt it.All that being said, it’s not any more noxious than you would find in a salon; by doing it at home, you’re still getting the same results through the same process, but saving at least $200. Would I do it again? Absolutely! I’m going to do it again once these results wear off. Just be careful, and it’s worth it.

I purchased this as my salon done Brazilian Blowout was 1 month overdue and I couldn't get an appointment for months. I was a bit nervous doing this myself. I asked my husband, who is a mechanical engineer if he could give me a hand .Long story short, he did the entire process for me. With the easy to read instructions and of course the tools, a reliable blow dryer a GOOD straight iron, some gloves, an applicator brush ,bowl and a heat resistant comb, no problem! I left it on the entire 3 days...The results were AWESOME! And I still have enough for another application! Brazilian Blowout $150 + tip. Brazilian Keratin Moroccan + Shampoo and Conditioner + another application $72.00!

Excelente inversión me ahorro casi $200 en hacerme la keratina en un salón buen producto lo he usado 3 veces y siempre me deja mi cabello, hermoso, suave y muy liso mi cabello es grueso y ondulado no tan lasio, pero me encanta como lo deja manejable en mi dura 4 meses muy bonito cada 4 meses me retoco la próxima keratina, este kit me dura de en mi largo de cabello 3 veces. Osea 3 keratinas , "Solo si eres sensible con tus ojos y nariz, te recomiendo aplicarte este producto en lugares ventilados que fluya aire, en mi me hace llorar un poco cuando lo estoy pasando la plancha es un poco fuerte, SOY MUY SENSIBLE..tengo que aser un poco de pausa ho ponerte mascarilla Y USAR VENTILADOR es lo único si lo haces como las introducción del kit, fijo te quedará hermoso el cabello ES BUENO EDTE PRODUCTO...

I bought this based off the good reviews. I've had previous Brazilian blowouts so I know what to expect. I followed the directions to a T and initially I was extremely happy with the results. But after the first wash I became very disappointed. For reference, my hair is medium texture, a 2C if I let it dry naturally or a 3B using a diffuser. With my previous Brazilian blowouts after washing it all I had to do was blow dry my hair or even let it dry naturally and it was silky and frizz-free. Any of the baby hairs around my hairline always just gracefully laid down like someone with naturally straight hair. After a few months I would need to use a round brush when blow drying it and maybe touch up with a flat iron but still frizz-free. With this product, when I blow dried my hair, it was frizzy and poofy after only the first wash. I had to use a flat iron on it and as you can see from the pictures it's already frizzy and curly at the nape of my neck and my baby hairs at my hairline are sticking straight up. I also included a picture of the real product that you would want to use to get professional results. It might be a little spendy but totally worth it.

This keratin treatment burned most of my hair and cause damage and fallout. While applying the fumes were intolerable and deadly. I somehow managed to get it over with and after few days I washed it and noticed nothing but damaged hair that falls out more. There is something wrong with this particular product itself.

I have very kinky curly hair and this loosened my curls by about 30% the first time using which is great! I wish my hair was like this all the time. Hoping with more use it will loosen my curls a bit more. Only downside is the product burns your eyes! I had to take breaks.UPDATE : So about after 4 months my hair was pretty much reverted back to my natural curls but still a bit looser. Which is good because just in case you don’t like the results or it’s just something you want temporarily (like me) your natural hair will revert back. The less you wash it, the treatment will last longer. So I did the treatment again & it’s loosened my curls by about 50% this time. Not even curly but wavy. I loved it! So much easier to work with. But I also love knowing that my hair will eventually revert back to my tight curls because I did miss the after a few weeks lol. BY THE WAY my hair is just past armpit level and 1 bottle provided me 2 full treatments. Over all great product. Would recommend !!!!

I've bought so many different things to try and make my hair healthy and smooth. This treatment makes my hair so smooth. It would help a lot to have someone help apply it, but I've done it myself and my hair is the best its been.No frizz, so soft it gets staticky lol but my hair never used to be smooth. Used to be so dry and brittle

I am a male with hair that gets very curly and wavy as it grows longer. Most of my life I would cut my hair shorter/medium length just to avoid the trouble of the messy, uncontrollable curls that would ruin my look. But I recently wanted to have longer hair for the upcoming summer as the higher volume of hair suits my look better. It would take a lot of products in copious amounts to style my hair into a look that looked 'manageable' and 'clean'. This keratin treatment did something I never thought was possible, and to such a high degree. I did everything as the instructions mentioned, waited 3 days before washing my hair, and my hair is so rich, silky, smooth, and EXTREMELY manageable and very flexible! I wake up with the 'most amazing bed-hair. I could now style my hair in the look I want, with just water basically. This will definitely save me money in the long run. The awesome thing is that out of the 120mL bottle, I used maybe 10% for this first treatment (and even that was a little too much).... This keratin makes your hair feel incredibly rich and luxurious if you do the treatment correctly and wait a few days.

I have used different brand last year its work well, but this year this one didn't work at all,My hair feels more bad causes knot to my hair,loosing hair when I brush it after all the work to put into this with pain giving to eyes,nose,head or whole face and arm and the time,it still didn't deliver the expectation, its my first time to write a comment,Its really sad :-(
