This would be TEN stars if it was an option! I have an 18 year old cat that had stopped eating his regular “nutritional” food. We got some friskies on sale and off he went, eating it up. After a couple of months, his color was fading noticeably, he was constantly sleeping and having bouts of bleeding from his mouth. I swapped his food to these meal toppers and the Solid Gold pumpkin and quail. The change happened the first night. No blood when I woke up the following morning. No blood for a couple weeks! His energy is back and he’s putting weight on. I’ve personally NEVER seen anything like this and I’m IMPRESSED! Tiger will be on this stuff until the end, which looks like it just got considerably extended.

At first they were too rich for my cat and she barfed them up but she was also anemic at the time and getting sick alot. Now i use them for both cats as treats and they love them! Might make the stool darker so dont worry. They seem nourishing in the basic ingredients and the cats act like they are getting and hamburger or something. Bag lasts a month or more when used as treats sparingly a day like 10pieces a day.

Our cat was attacked and got feline hiv. It was recommend to add this to the food to boost immune system and health. I noticed right away her disposition and wanting to eat. They say it’s a topper but mixed it in with the dry and she still gets soups and wet food. Expensive but mix it in and it will last! Wonderful product!

My cat LOves this better then her soft food, and with kibble only. An All her nutrition is met. Vet told me this better then the drops. Plus I give her good nutritional kibble ! I love my Cat !

It’s true when they say these are like kitty crack! My cats go absolutely crazy for them! When they hear the bag they all swarm me lol. Even my picky girl loves them, in fact she is the one who is most obsessed. However, I do have one issue. I actually stopped feeding these for a while when I noticed all of my cats broke out right above their eyes/head area. When that happened to one of my cats prior to this, the vet said it was an allergic reaction, for that issue I found the culprit was egg I was putting in their homemade food. So when I saw the same thing appear on all of my cats, I knew it had to be something in these topper/treats as it was the only thing I added to their diet. I stopped giving them and it went away. Now in smaller amounts I think this will be just fine but my cats were wanting them constantly so I was crushing them on their food and hand feeding throughout the day. To be fair, it was probably too much. One of my cats has been dealing with an eye issue for a long time and she was miserable for a long time until we finally found the right med for her. During this time, she didn’t eat as much because she was in pain and just not happy at all. Now that I see my girls happy personality again, I knew it was time to get her weight back up. She is my picky girl so these treats were the first thing I thought of to help her. But I have to really be careful this time and make sure they aren’t eating too many daily. I’m not blaming this on the product since it is a favorite of my cats but for my crew, it’s best to limit the amount they eat.

Okay, I don’t know if it’s magic or hopeful thinking or just that this product is that good but here’s the backstory- senior cat was diagnosed with diabetes about 2 months ago. Immediately put on gluco support diet, insulin, lifestyle changes etc. He normally eats like a horse but wasn’t gaining weight, however, antibiotics and insulin we were told should turn around any symptoms of lipodosis (fatty liver when the body starts eating itself for energy bc it can’t process the glucose). He threw up one night and we couldn’t give him the insulin if he doesn’t eat so it threw off his whole schedule when he was doing great. The next day we could barely get him to eat anything but lickables mixed with his wet food but still he was turned away from it. I bought this bag in hopes to get him to eat a little bit of dry food that was nutritious or even get him to eat his gluco dry food because he wasn’t even excited about his regular treats. The second I opened this bag I saw my boys eyes light up again for the first time in a couple days! I gave him a few pieces and he was weak so he chewed a few bits but wanted more and more. I really think these perked him back up and gave him some nutrition he desperately needed! My other cat who usually is picky also gobbled these up and wanted more which is saying a lot! They are very good quality and they were able to eat them easily!

For a company that stresses how cats are carnivores and shouldn't eat corn and wheat, its ironic the first ingredient here is PEAS, I also thought since says for gut health it would have probiotics and vitamins ect, but its other ingredient is blood, and blood plasma. I got it to fatten my runt cat up but out of 4 cats the only one that will eat it (and he only has couple bites n walks away) is the morbidly obese cat that eats everything. I'm just giving it to dogs. I like some other stuff this company makes but don't know why they put lentils, cranberries blueberries, pumpkin, peas and other non meat in their cat food. CATS ARE TRUE CARNIVORES NOT LIKE DOGS; they would die of starvation if you put only a bowl of pumpkin, lentils, and berries and nothing else. Don't waste your money.
