Great little sail for a paddleboard!
Great little sail! The quality of the mast is unmatched by any other company. I have my 5.8 on a bic wind 11'6". I weigh 225lbs and can get going to a pretty good clip in winds as low as 5mph wind. You won't set any speed records but that isn't what this sail is made for. It is intended to cruise around at a leisurely 10mph or so which it does without any problems, even for someone with no experience at all. My only complaint is the plastic batten ends breaking. Mine broke the first time out and I glued them back together but yesterday they finally crumbled away. Hopefully the manufacturer is able to help. I will update this review when I hear back from them.UPDATESteve at Aerotech was quick to remedy the problem of the broken batten caps. He sent the new parts in the mail right away and advised that the sail can be used without the caps in the mean time. Excellent customer service on their part. I would definitely buy another Aerotech!
