Bloch womens Warm Up Bootie

First: I'm not a dancer. I can't speak to the longevity or quality of these boots in a backstage/studio setting, or with the rigor of being constantly kicked off and pulled on. I bought these boots as house slippers last winter, and they're absolutely wonderful for keeping my feet warm, but not roasting. I wear them most of the day and evening, and they're comfortable enough to stay put even when I'm sitting cross-legged, or in some other ergonomically-unfortunate position at my computer. More than once, I've nearly gotten into bed with them on. Fellow wide foot folks, this is the boot for you. They're roomy enough for my wide feet, even with thick socks. I don't feel the least bit cramped or squeezed in, and I also don't feel like it's a too-big shoe. The fact that it's basically a tiny sleeping bag with a little padding on the bottom for your foot does help accommodate a large variety of footbeds. They stay put nicely, too. The strap over the top of the foot adjusts down to that perfect balance of holding the boot in place and easily kicking off/pulling on. I absolutely adore them, and am looking forward to another winter of shuffling around in them. There's really only two potential cons to these boots: First, there really isn't anything like a tread or proper sole to them. It doesn't matter much with it's intended use, or as house slippers, but these aren't what you want to slip on to pop outside and grab the mail. This does also mean that there really isn't any arch support to speak of in these boots. Second, the top cuff is too tight on my thick calves, and the Velcro closure is useless. It's not really a deal breaker for me; I just scoot them down a half inch or so from where they want to land and have to remember to do the Velcro up each time.

My daughter wears these to dance 3 days a week. Made to last, very comfortable, and she loves them. Black never goes out of style!

So fluffy, comfortable and warm! I would recommend to go a size up for wearing with pointe shoes.

I just got these in the mail so I can’t really speak on the longevity of these booties but from what I feel they are super warm and comfy. I prefer a larger size because they are a bit snug fitting, especially if you want to fit pointe shoes or other dance shoes inside. I recommend purchasing a darker colour to prevent stains and dirtying.

Granddaughter likes them and uses them between performances at dance.

Just got these today to provide an extra set of warm booties used both indoors and outdoors. My old ones from 2016 are showing their age. One of my cats is outdoors living on my front porch, but receives the best of care and attention. I’ve seen thicker booties, but finding some that have a least a thin sole is not fun. Decided I would try these, as they looked OK, reviews are good, and price is reasonable. They are very comfortable, easy to get on, fit nicely, but with my unusually long feet it is hard to find shoes of any kind that meet all requirements. These are XL and yet unfortunately a thick insulated sock feels just a little bit snug. That is my only reason to knock off one star. An ordinary sock feels fine. At this writing I am sitting on my porch with the outdoor kitty and the temp is 32 degrees. So far, so good. I hope these booties will handle temps much lower than that. But time will tell.
