Lisle 68100 Deluxe Feeler Gauge, Regular

This is a great gauge and is of decent quality. I like all the different sizes and it is easy to use and convenient to store. I have used this for spark plug gaps and adjusting valve clearance. It has worked perfectly for me for all the jobs I have needed it for.

Used these when I adjusted the valves on my GSXR. The feeler gauges a calibrated correctly. The 31 blades came in handy to get an exact measurement. The quality of the tool is ok, similar to the ones you find at autozone or discount auto. I did not have trouble getting the blade out like the other reviewer. for what you get I think the price is right.

This is a good set that I expect to use for many years. So far I have used it for several weeks in my home shop. I have used it to measure and correct some misalignment in my lathe and set up parts for machining. So far all the blades are holding up and none have gotten bent. This is one of those tools that you will need if you are trying to do precision work. My calipers can't fit into the places that these feelers can go.

These are firm blades and well made. I use it to depress springs that I need to install while doing gunsmithing work. Its like having three hands! It is so great to have something inexpensive, simple, and 100% effective.

It's a feeler gauge and it does what feeler gauges do. I'll assume that anyone looking at this product will use it like I do, measuring gaps! As with any delicate item this tool can be damaged if not used carefully. The price and quality of this gauge is good, I'd buy another if I ever needed to.

Used this to measure tolerances while installing an autolocker in the front axle of my Jeep XJ. Did the job fine, but although the item was new in it's original packing it had been penetrated by moisture somewhere along the line and had some minor corrosion buildup. I took it apart and cleaned it with WD40 and all was well. Solidly built for the price.

Works as advertised. I found nothing wrong with this product and use it regularly. Let me amend that last statement; after lots of use, the measurement indicator printed on the individual gauges can wear thin and be difficult to read. I remarked it with a permanent marker. Fixed the problem.

Lisle tools for the most part are of good quality; I have a number of them. These are cheap Chinese crap. I was really disappointed. I threw them out and bought a Snap On set. It wasn't much more and are high quality.

Good and as expected. Using them for measuring string action height on guitars. Have all the desired sizes. Covered in the packing grease/ manufacturing oil but I think this is just for protecting them from rust during storage / shipment. No problems there. Gave mine a quick rinse before using them on guitar fretboard. Very well made - all slot back in nicely for easy storage. Have the sizes printed on them easily. Would purchase again but I doubt they'll ever wear out!

This is sooooo handy! It will measure gaps... and it will also measure gaps... and tomorrow, I'm going to see if it works to measure gaps. Highly recommend.

Well made and has stamped marks are easy to read

Good buy and great service. This easy to use feeler gauge set has a wide assortment individual gauges with the thickness stamped in inches and millimeters on each. I give this purchase a four- instead of a five-star rating because you'll want to keep this tool in a dry environment and lightly oiled to prevent corrosion. (It arrived with a light film of oil already applied.) The shipping was very quick.

As stated by other reviewers, some blades had surface corrosion right out of the package. Also, item is not exactly as represented in photo ("Lisle" and "Made in USA", are not etched into the case. Only "CHINA" near the nut). But, they are functional.
