Great buy!
Very tasty tiny lentils! Did not cook. Just poured hot water over it and let stand 15 min. Then strained and added flavoring to make a crunchy salad.

Not sure these a truly black lentils but they taste fine
Should black lentils lose their color when soaked in water?! I should not think so right? I suspect these have die and are not truly black lentils. They taste fine so I am giving 4 stars.

I like to pair these black shiny lentils with a nice piece of King Salmon on a dinner plate.So pretty.

Hard to find product at a decent price
I ordered these to give them a try. These beluga lentils are not easily found in local markets, even here in the L.A. area. But a pound doesn't last very long. I ordered a larger quantity direct from Palouse also with free shipping and a first-time customer discount.
