Perfect fit and blend
This looks very neat compared to the original bulky thermostat I had before. I didn’t like the colored plates I saw in other reviews because they didn’t blend with the wall. It’s tempting to get a color that matches your nest thermostat, but it looks really odd if you have a different colored wall. I’ll recommend you order the color that matches your wall and not your nest thermostat. The grey/white contrast looks amazing imo. I love this so much, and now I read the temperature every time I pass by the thermostat.

Covers holes
This was made for the google nest line of thermostats. Color matches my nest thermostat, covers old holes, screw holes of old thermostat without having to patch the wall.
