Great quality
Looked great and quality was on point. It was heavy but you get great drag strength. Never put on decided to go smaller. Return was simple and easy

Let me just say, I have purchased a total of 4 BG8000 since 2016 and they are very reliable fishing reels. With basic maintenance , never encountered any issues. I know there are lots of spinning reels out there but for me, Daiwa BG provides the best value at this price point. It’s a very durable reel, casts very well, and is smooth. I have a Shimano that costs lot more but BG is my go to reel . I remember my dad bought me a first Daiwa reel back in the 80s, and the reel lasted for almost 40 years. I replaced it with BG Daiwa and hopefully it will last for many years to come

The best reel for the price. The newer mq model twice the cost. Yet not much better. Super smooth 33lbs. Of drag great for larger fish. A little on heavy side but worth the extra weight. Tarpon, shark even pretty good size tuna will be no problem. AAA+

What can I say about the diawa eight thousand this is a phenomenal real. I use this to sturgeon fish. The drag on it has not failed. And I can pull it in fairly quickly, alright, 10 foot sturgeon, and get them released quickly. If you're looking to get big fish, this is the real to get everything about.It is well made

All the Hype is Totally Justified
I read all the amazing reviews, saw the youtube videos, thought I would try one. It is in fact the best reel out there for the money, or for any amount of money for that matter. Great reel, I don't need to say much more, other reviews go into the detail, I'll just collaborate that all the talk is right. I plan on getting one in every size. UPDATE: I've had the reel a few months now and it is holding up amazing. I have it spooled up with 80lb braid, and I've landed a few big 100lb plus fish on so far, no problems whatsoever. I added some pictures for size also.

Great real, super sturdy. Would recommend for ocean fishing. Only down side is that it's super heavy! but I guess that expected from an 8000 series reel.

Die neue Rolle ist stark und robust wie beschrieben. Bereits seit einigen Tagen ist sie in der Adria im Einsatz und trollt und trollt und trollt. 400 Meter geflochtene sind drauf. Sie ist leichtgängig und weniger scher als erwartet.

Bonjour, C'est un super moulinet, je pêche depuis la côte et je l'ai utilisé pendant des heures avec des leurres de 60 et 80 grammes. Il répond à toutes mes attentes. J'ai même installé 500m de fil de 45 centièmes sur la bobine. Cordialement.
