Minimal Help for PSVR owners.
PROS:- Fits well into the USB slots.- Aesthetically pleasing.- Works as you'd expect it toCONS:- You lose 1 of your 2 precious USB 3.0 slots to the USB 2.0 slots- Does nothing to help PSVR owners utilize their headsets as well as an external drive more efficiently due to lack of USB 3.0 slots.I purchased this in order to make room for my PSVR as well as an external HDD. Unfortunately, only having 1 USB 3.0 port holds this hub back. Having 5 ports is much less meaningful if all of my peripherals are going to have to fight over the 1 premium port this hub offers. In a way this port is 1 step foreward 2 steps back because in the process of gaining 4 USB 2.0 slots you lose your other USB 3.0 slot. For anyone looking to expand your ps4 ports to accommodate your PSVR you will need to look elsewhere.

This is a great product at a great price!
After reading thru all of the reviews I was on the fence. I work with electronics for a living and I do understand that a certain percentage of parts can arrive Dead On Arrival and be Out Of Box Failures. All things considered my gut told me to give it a try and I was not disappointed.Upon receiving the Anrain 5 USB Hub I opened the box and my first impression was that this appeared to be a well built unit. I carefully aligned the two rear male USB connectors to the PS4, carefully inserted them straight into the PS4, applied enough pressure once flush, and the adapter snapped right into place securely. Once installed it looks like it was made for the PS4 as picture in the advertisement. Some of the other reviews state that the unit is loose and pops off easily. This was not the case for me. The fit is very secure.I use these ports to power the USB Bluetooth dongle for the mic on my Turtle Beach headset (see my review on the BTD USB Dongle for more info on how to use an older BT headset on the PS4), power the wireless transmitter for the headset, connect my XIM4 controller, and connect my HipshotDot. I have no issues with the sound on my headset as some had mentioned regardless of the port used nor is there any noticeable lag in response time. The unit I received works flawlessly.I do suggest this product in the event you have the need to expand the number of USB port on your PS4.

Always nice with additional ports
Works as expectedI saw a lot of 1 star reviews with the bluetooth issue, but thats not my case. I play a lot of first person shooters and I play on a computer monitor and not a huge TV. For the first person shooter games I use a XIM to play with a mouse and keyboard, playing on my TV is pointless cause the refresh rates on it suck.Anyways I use all 4 ports on my PS4 1 to plug into my XIM 1 for my ps4 controller 1 for my external hard drive and 1 for my yeti mic with head phones.Pros:1) Adds addtional ports2) blends in well with the ps4Con:1) cheap plastic

This is a great product and it works well except for one big issue. If you are using a external USB hard drive you have to hook it up to the 3.0 USB port and by doing that it causes your PS4 controller to loose connection(if it's not looking directly at the PS4) and that really sucks because I have to constantly keep my controller pointed directly at it. So if you want this to connect more and one of the things you want to Colbert is an external USB hard drive than I wouldn't recommend it

Awesome addition if having to keep things constantly connected to the PS4's usb ports.
Loved adding this to my PS4 as I always have my controller plugged in, and ear piece usb, and a keyboard for quick typing.NOTE: Though recently I have started seeing some errors coming up with the keyboard, and the ear piece usb disconnecting at random times. Not entirely sure why but still seems to be seated well. If nothing else still works great for my purposes.

Doesn't work for ps4 at all..
from the moment I read all the bad reviews I figure why not give it a chance because maybe they had a defective unit. Well, two days in a row of use and it doesn't read my external HD sometimes, still operating as a 2.0 port and not a 3.0 because the design basically is a 3.0 hub adaptor that's custom designed to fit the ps4 nicely. These past two days I have lost a few game saves because the HD in the 3.0 slot sometimes would disconnect for no reason and my turtle beach wireless headset freaks out by turning on and off if im not next to the system or walk away more than 8ft. When I could walk 40ft into another room and still be connected to my ps4 while plugged in the regular dual port. Sometimes my headset while next to the unit the mic would keep turning on and off as well. All of my controllers would sometimes not register and make my character keep running or do whatever last movement I did before the controller lost connection. I never had any problems or issues until I plugged in this 1x 3.0-4x 2.0 usb hub. So the negative reviews are true about the item. Also, it's confirmed on many websites about how to truly get a 3.0 usb connection for your ps4. Just a fyi don't use or buy any 3.0 adaptor for the ps4. Not even the Ethernet, power adaptor ect. None of them work at all. You're going to have to change the HD yourself to a 2.5 one or 2 TB 7400 rpm internal and use a 5400 cheap 3.0/2.0 backwards compatibility external for extra memory. Here's what works with the 4.50 update. USB 3.0 HDD must not include any gimmicks... these include. NO USB hubs (Remove the hub, USB hubs built in models can't be used) NO Multi drive combos units. (Single HDD drive only.) NO raid usage...NO multi partition HDD set up...(Erase partition table on PC) NO network storage Ethernet to USB switching. (Nas drives are not supportted ) NO MAC OS or Windows Pre formating and software junk.(Single partition in Exfat or Fat32) NO USB2 Chipset inside an attached USB 3.0 Port cloned 3.0 enclosure... NO USB to eSata conversion (in side the caddy) NO USB to IDE conversionThe USB 3.0 HDD to Sata unit must be a Single partition HDD... Formating on PC or Mac OS to remove the PC/MAC pre sale set up. If not you'll get bad connections with your controllers and wireless headsets or messages saying your extended range HDD needs to be directly connected to the PS4 even though it's in the 3.0 slot and the power is on. Im not happy.
