Nice mount
I wasn’t expecting to much from this product, basically it’s a handlebar that you can attach stuff to. Lining it up was difficult until I added double stick tape to both side of the mount that sits on the dash, then it stayed in place while I put the screw in. People have said that it’s hard to get a tool on the screw but I was able to use a cheap mini ratchet I got at Ross dress for less. I would also suggest taking it completely apart and figuring out how you want it and at what angle. Then use some lock tight for the screws. They will rattle loose if you don’t. The phone sits pretty far back to the point where you can actually fit it in the pocket. It’s solid though and much cheaper than a vector jke. I will probably upgrade to a ram mount later and attach that to the bar, it will bring the phone out in front of the stereo. It’s a good product and does what it says, you can probably attatch 2 phones and a go pro but that’s about it.Update 11/28/2020Just got my Ram mounts in for my phone. I got the clamp with 1” ball and the short extension arm. It places the phone just in front of the deck. I did order a medium length arm also but that would push the phone out about 2 inches more away from the deck. The ram mounting plate is for the xl phones and came with the 1” ball mount on the back of it. Fits my iPhone 11 perfectly and doesn’t move at all. It would easily hold a plus or galaxy. This setup is solid now and there is no way my phone will fall out of the holder ever again, even in a bumpy Jeep jk.

So close but just a poor design.
To be perfectly honest I was buying this strictly for the bar so I could use RAM mounts and was going to toss the provided phone mount. I had high hopes for the bar portion based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately what nobody has pointed out is that by installing this you make the center console where this bolts into completely useless. The bar sits right in the middle of the console, effectively making the center console useless. There is no way you can put your hand or anything else for that matter in there. If they would have made the lower part where the bolt goes threw just a little longer and have the riser section run up the rear section (towards the hood) it would make this a winner. The bar would stay relatively in the same spot as it is now and would allow for the use of the console. As for the phone holder, it's actually pretty good for what it is. I personally wouldn't use it but if I had a device that I didn't need to remove often, I would use it. It puts a firm hold on my Iphone 13.

Decent, but drawbacks
It is a decent mount for the money.Pros: easy to install if you have a universal joint for your ratchet...if not, good luck. The phone mount is one of the most secure I've ever tried.Cons: cannot angle the phone toward the driver or passenger. Mounting position, while well clear of the radio, is very high...shorter drivers will find it to completely bock their vision. As others have said, it rattles and could benefit from the manufacturer including double stick foam tape...and, frankly a on page installation guide.Summary: I think we pony up the cash to replace with a Vector soon.

Sturdy mount
Not the easiest thing to install because of the limited space to work with to attach the single screw to hold it in place. It is super sturdy and can attach multiple devices. Anything that can mount to a bicycle handle bar can be mounted on this. It sits high and blocks visibility, I only use it on long road trips and back country. I could look into a getting a mount with a long handle to bring the phone closer and improve visibility.

So Far…
So Far the product was ok to install, pain in the ass with the angle of the screw you reuse. Ordered 2 of these, one came scratched up to the bare metal. Overall nice for the price compared to many other options. Bolt rattled when you don’t have your phone in place, super annoying
