Color and texture the best!!!
Easy to work with, great quality, amazing variety of colors, size and texture, you don't need big amounts and you can easily get the shade that you need without effort. Mix perfectly with soy wax and pro blend wax. If you keep and mind the shades buy it individually but if you want to try the 26 counts is a great value for money. highly recommended!!

a strong color accurate to the color shown
It worked fine, it is a strong colorant and first time users should add it slowly and test... people complaining it didn't blend, probably didn't have enough heat to melt the colorant, and maybe used in a product they could not heat enough to melt it, it blended just fin at 160 degrees, used with paraffin and stearic acid, I poured the candles at 175 I added more color to the melted wax, did not have to melt the color first people complaining their candle wouldn't burn, may have added too much color, this is a colorant, it will color the candle but is not the primary burning material, add too much, you are making a crayon with a wick understand candle chemistry... the only nuisance is having to shave it... put a large piece of paper in the work area and, I shaved more than I needed for my recent batch to save time next time

White candle wax dye seems hard to find, so this was a good product to discover.
I received the white wax dye. I have used it to make 3 candles so far which I wanted to mix with black dye for a gray color. The white wax dye (solid chunks) did work pretty well, but do require more mixing as they are hard and seem to have a high melting point. At first I was afraid it was not going to melt and blend, and then when it started it seemed kind of chalky. But as I continued to stir it then blended with the black to give me a nice gray color which I was wanting.

Love this candle dye! Never any problems!
I use these color blocks in soy candles without any of the issues I'm seeing in the negative reviews. Colors melted completely and quickly. I make sure to stir well and to add the color at 175 degrees. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. Easy to mix to accomplish any shade you could imagine. I use half an ounce of color per pound of soy wax. I never exceed this weight ratio. I use white and black to lighten or darken accordingly. I've never had any burning issues with these colors either. Wicks never get clogged and nothing but rave reviews from my customers.

Do not use unless you want candles that won't burn...
Welp... I own a candle business and have been making palm wax candles for some time. I love the way this dye looks as it gives nice opaque color to the wax. It's definitely not like any dye I've used and I was kind of excited about it. So, I made a bunch of beautiful candles with my new dye just to get a call that someone's candle kept going out after a few minutes. Doing some trials myself, sure enough after 15 minutes or so the wick clogs and stops burning. I'm using wood wicks too which are supposed to be much less sensitive to clogging, so forget about it with a traditional wick. I followed the instructions on the package to a T (gram scale and all), so it's not like I greatly overdid it with the dye loading. All in all, very disappointing and definitely not worth your money. Best to avoid. I got the gray color so perhaps the others magically don't have this problem but at this point I'm not going to waste my time to find out.

Vibrant and Beautiful Colors
I can't rave enough about these dyes. I use them for decorative pillar candles that I sell and these are the best quality dyes that I have used thus far. I will not use any other brand unless I am in a pinch. I also love that you have full control over how much you are using and how bright or light the wax comes out. I can mostly only find liquid dyes locally, and aside from a couple colors I've found that I can't find anywhere else, the mess and time spent using them is just not worth it at all. I will be a long standing customer with Candle Shop bricks dyes as long as I am making candles!

While these dyes do colour the wax nicely, I find I need way more than they say I need to get the rich colours I want, especially with black or brown. They're also a bit hard to shave off, but the numer of colours I got make it worth the price they ask.
