The best buy of anything in a long time if not ever
This stuff never works for me, but it did this time. A mechanic a major dealership told me my compressor was shot and even have one being delivered tomorrow. But I kept seeing this you tube vid pop up saying wait before before spending 1400 on a new ac compressor and having it installed. I'm glad I did. Ordered part and it came the next day. Super easy install, only 35 dollars and totally fixed the issue. I used it on my 17 Altima s,. Never write reviews or even try quick fixes because they never work. This really did.

GREAT - 2017 Nissan Altima
Works great, my AC wasn't working at all (hot air) my dad replaced this part and my AC is now colder than ever. Great value for a great price

Cheap, easy way to fix your AC.
Had issues with my 2013 Altima SV air conditioner not cooling when it was above 85 degrees. AC would come out weak and only cool when the car was in motion, the air would blow warm when sitting at idle. Below 85 degrees it would cool ok, but defintely not as it should. Finally got tired of the hot car in the Florida sun and decided to fix it. Hooked up some ac manifold gauges and had a reading of 80(L) and 135(H) which gave me an indication of a possible stuck valve. Had the refrigerant pulled by a local shop and replaced the valve. It is easily accessed from under the car and is only held on by one snal ring. Pulled a vacuum for an hour and let it sit under vacuum for an hour to make sure it wasn't leaking. Refilled it with approx 18oz of R134 and we now have ice cold air. I have had the AC on Max for the last two years and now have to turn it down to the middle setting

Fixed my air conditioning problems
My mechanic wanted to replace the entire AC compressor for over $1,100. I saw videos about this valve and the mechanic said he would charge $200 to replace it but would not guarantee it. I took the gamble, and it paid off. Months later I have great AC and saved at least $900.

Saved me $1200 in repair shop!
I researched and found that this solenoid valve is a very common failure point in 2014 and similar Nissan Altima A/C compressor systems. When it fails it makes it look like the compressor itself has failed, when in fact it's only the $40 solenoid valve that's attached to the compressor. The repair shop of mine assured me the compressor was bad, and that the replacement cost would be $1200, parts and labor included. When I questioned if he was 100% sure, he offered to show me his certification papers! In short, I bought this, .. I popped out the solenoid with a whoosh! ... (Repair shop had supposedly evacuated all the freon in it's diagnostic service) very little escaped when I pulled the solenoid out. I replaced with the new unit. I went to Walmart and bought a $32 bottle of A/C Pro freon recharge ... and within minutes I had the coldest air conditioning I could ask for! ... Complete and 100% A/C repair in my '14 Altima SV for less than $80, compared to the $1200 the shop would have charged. Also, note ...not all Nissan Altimas have the solenoid inside the compressor. You can tell be the electrical connector that's plugged into it on the very bottom of the compressor. If your car has this, please (check/buy) this solenoid before you buy a new complete compressor! 👍

Works on 2008 XC90 with Valeo 813142 Compressor
Just wanted to add that while this listing didn't reference Volvo XC90s, it was an exact replacement for the Volvo 31365093 A/C Compressor solenoid valve. Just confirm that you have the Valeo 81342 compressor (only on later VINs in 2008 (and potentially other years)) and you should be good with this part. In the picture, the original Volvo is right and the replacement ACTECMax solenoid is on the left. Replaced it, it works great, my A/C is back, and saved well over $1k from what the 'mechanic' suggested. (Compressor and condenser replacement)

This saved me almost $1500
Photo of OEM part removed from 2014 2.5 Nissan Altima. (Solo cup for size comparison). This part was a perfect replacement fit. Mechanic said this would not solve my sons AC issue. He said I needed to spend $1400+ on a new compressor. My son and I replaced this in about 10 mins....took his car back to get the freon added back (we had them remove so we could change this part) and wallahh!!!! Ice-Cold AC once again. Do it yourself and save $$$. Note: You will need some snap ring pliers to remove the part.

Cambié la válvula y el AC funcionó de nuevo sin problemas. sencillo de cambiar, solo hay que comprar unas pinzas para quitar y poner el anillo omega. Hay que cargar de nuevo gas.
