Worked perfectly in a 2009 SL63 R230 Mercedes-Benz convertible
This product worked PERFECTLY and worked where 3 other boxes FAILED to operate in an R230 Mercedes Benz 2009 SL63 with Harman-Kardon stereo/speaker system and a TOTALLY AWESOME Dudu7 12gb 9.5" 512gb storage head unit. Huuuuge upgrade for my 2009 SL63! Highly recommended.

It's very, very good
I've bought it. I've opened the box. Soldering quality seems a little (but not much) better than me in my garage. But it works, and works well. Compared to a blue adapter box from another vendor, this gives much cleaner and crispier sound. In fact, the sound with an aftermarket system is now just as good as from a factory Porsche head unit. This adapter is pricey, yes, but worth it.

Easy simple install
Works correctly for a 2003 W211. My car had the MB "Audio 50" head and has the Harmon Kardon system. This unit made updating from the Audio 50 head to a modern Carplay compatible unit a breeze. This unit allows the original trunk mounted HK amplifier to be used via the fiber optic connection in the front head console.

Faulty product it’s a bit of a gamble.
I installed this along with a new radio in my 2008 Mercedes' w211 It’s been working technically for months. Except nearly every time I would turn off the car the speakers would omit a loud POP sound. I spent multiple instances for months trying to resolve this issue. I kept blaming the install and changing how it was done since there’s so many different ways people wire them online. I even tried a timer to delay power off of the head unit to allow the amp to turn off first which did not resolve the turn off POP. I even purchased a second new radio and same issue. The solution ended up being this device was faulty. And since I bought it and have been troubleshooting in my free time I have gone far past the return window. My advice if you have a similar issue. Have a second MOST box on hand from another supplier as the QC is poor. Then ensure you have the time to test it before your return window closes. The second one from another company starting with an X worked. But even they have QC issues according to reviews.

Works great and easy to install
Works great and easy to install, it's the only way that I know of where you can keep your stock amp and still be able to replace the old outdated radio.

Works great but the fiber connection is loose
The connector for the optic fiber does not fit perfectly and I had to secure it with duct tape. Apart from that, it works great in my MB CLK

Works as described
Everything works as described, leaving 4 stars due to lack of instructions, which causes some headaches.
