Much cheaper alternate to the original piece and works just like the original.

This little accessory makes vacuuming under furniture a breeze! It's a "knuckle" or "elbow" that allows the wand of your Dyson vacuum to "fold" and still maintains electrical continuity to the suction head. Brilliant! This works great with our Dyson v15 Detect vacuum cleaner. Be sure to check for compatibility with your machine!

Exact replacement and it works well but it remains to be seen how long it will last. The original that came with the new vac lasted only a couple months of use. The button used to release the wand for under furniture broke on the inside and I don't see any way to fix it. UPDATE: I purchased this replacement part in June 2025 and here it is early August and it is once again it is broken. The design idea Dyson has is a great idea but the execution is quite bad. Like other reviewers, it is flimsy thin plastic. A quick analysis demonstrates whether you're using this function or not, as you push the vacuum under normal conditions it is putting stress on that joint. It needs a re-design or better materials.

I love my Dyson and this particular piece is the bomb. I use it everytime I vacuum so replacing a broken one was so important. I'm go glad Amazon could help!

SOON AFTER PURCHASE: We bought this after our Dyson elbow broke after 3 months. This one is just as easy to use and has (so far) held out as long as the Dyson brand elbow. SIX MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE: ... and it broke. It will no longer remain straight. BOTTOM LINE: Compared to Dyson brand elbow, it's less expensive and lasted twice as long. Just not great...

The attachment I got with my vacuum broke. This replacement is same device, just not same color combo. Replacement fit perfectly and works like a charm! I'm thrilled to get back under furniture without bending!! I love this piece, it's my favorite attachment! So far the quality appears same as original.

It works! Easily reaches way under my king bed, which the normal attachments would not. I still lay on the floor to make sure the entire underbed is cleaned. I could just stand up and with the attachment, the brush will go all the way under the bed but i like to lay down and watch it work!

Ho acquistato questo adattatore per poter utilizzare accessori aggiuntivi sul mio Dyson, e devo dire che si è rivelato molto più utile di quanto immaginassi. Appena arrivato l’ho provato subito e l’impressione iniziale è stata ottima: il materiale è solido, l’aggancio è immediato e soprattutto non dà quella sensazione “ballerina” che a volte si trova in accessori compatibili. La cosa che ho apprezzato di più è la fluidità dello sgancio rapido: si inserisce e si rimuove davvero con un clic deciso, senza dover forzare nulla. Anche dopo diversi utilizzi non si è allentato, né dà segni di cedimento. Si integra perfettamente con il design del Dyson e non appesantisce l’utilizzo dell’aspirapolvere, che resta maneggevole come sempre. Dal punto di vista pratico, mi ha permesso di usare accessori che non avrei potuto montare direttamente sul mio modello, e il risultato è stato impeccabile: la potenza di aspirazione non cambia, non ci sono perdite d’aria e tutto rimane stabile durante la pulizia. Inoltre è arrivato nei tempi previsti e ben imballato, quindi anche l’esperienza con il venditore è stata più che positiva. In sintesi, è un piccolo accessorio che però fa esattamente ciò che promette e lo fa bene. Se avete un Dyson compatibile e vi serve un adattatore affidabile e ben costruito, questo è decisamente un acquisto che vale la pena fare. Consigliatissimo.
