Very well made for rangehood vent
This is a low cost but great on material exhaust vent. It's made of thick metal (except plastic screen). I use it for rangehood. Plastic screen was replaced with 1/4" metal mesh right after I received it.I installed it on wall. The installation on this vent is quick (but hard duct in attic is a quite different story).Be sure to wear new shoes to get max friction on roof. Vent is very sturdy and its color matched with our brown exterior paint. A very well made product!

The product is sturdy and perfect for my bath exhaust. I like that the pipe is not removable, that may be a problem for some though. Also the way I face mounted it to the siding isn't a waterproof method others might use, but there are a few ways you could do that better.

Well made and prefinished to match
Impressed with how thick the housing is and its prefinished paint color matches my house trim. Installed this to replace a flimsy plastic exhaust vent that the sun degraded and broke in 8 yrs. Thankful there are still well made alternatives out there for us to use, this will absolutely last longer than any plastic alternative.

Looks good nice finish
Looks good. I have a dark blue/black stain and it matches well.I took a star off because it doesn't have a flap to keep birds out, just a plastic grate.

Be mindful that it flaps a little in high winds
Easy to install and looks great. Works as described.

There is no damper to prevent backdraft.
I discovered after I drilled the hole in my house that this does not have the damper to prevent backdraft as described. I had toni stall it anyway to keep critters from coming through the hole. Now I have to wait for a backdraft damper purchased separately to finish the job.
