I’m astounded by the foolishness of reviewers sometimes. There are people here reviewing bags they bought that were too small for their garbage bin, their mistake, which they don’t mention until the bottom of their review! People complaining about it not being easy to take out or that it tore, but they bought the wrong size! Others clearly abused and misused their bags and don’t understand why they don’t hold up! How awful to mislead consumers So, I’m writing my review now! I was coming online ONLY to purchase more of these bags, but was so annoyed by the reviews that I’m going to just be explicit about my experience now after using an entire case of these over 2.5 YEARS!!! These bags NEVER tore, ripped or caused me a single problem, ever! I wouldn’t fill them with 50 glass jars and tons of wet material, but they had to hold their share of lots of things, wet and dry. People don’t admit when they overstuff their bags or misuse them. These bags are far from weak, they’re standard strong garbage bags, period. They hold pretty much anything your kitchen would need you to dump in them. I loved them. I love the fact that I knew I was doing something good by using them due to the fact that they are RECYCLED material, thank goodness! It is frightening to me the amount of plastic that’s going into our ground. There is no excuse for not coming up with better solutions and all of us doing a BETTER job shopping, especially now. And they are SO inexpensive! It’s a no brainer! These bags relieved my conscience every time I went to the garbage bin with them. They are just standard strong solid mid grade normal garbage bags and they hold up. I did throw in all varieties of garbage. Every time I carried it to the trash bin, not one negative thing occurred. On one or two occasions, when I put WAY too much liquid and heavy material into my trash, left it for too long, I did rinse my bin out after a very minor amount of liquid leaked. That is nothing after 2.5 years with these bags and that was MY fault, not the trash bags! I have been to the store three times after running out of these bags, but I refused to purchase any other bags anywhere because of the outstanding quality and content of these and what I’m doing for the environment. So there you go. I’m sure most of us are now good readers of reviews. Sometimes bad reviews actually help sell a product to me, when I see the only reviewers complaining are people that bought the wrong item for their needs or misused it. Between those reviews and the good reviews, I feel more sure the product is worthwhile.

I reviewing because I was surprised at the reviews. Been using for many years. Yes, there is a slight scent (baby powder smell maybe?) in the bag when you first open it. Maybe it is a neutralizer. It definitely wouldn't deodorize a bad stench. We use it inside for our trash can in the kitchen (no bottles, glass, wood skewers or knives etc., just basic trash only). We also use it outside in a 5 gallon poop bucket for our dogs waste. It sits inside a lidded bucket in the sun through cold and heat for about two weeks. Sometimes it feels iffy when we pull 5 gallons of dog poop out of the bucket in this bag, and we have always been able to carefully carry it to trash without breaking. Many times we add another bag if we let it get too full just to be safe. I bought this as the closest thing to environmental option in a landfill which doesn't really compost unless it is a composting site. Never had a problem with the seams or breaking. Only issue is when occasionally at a party, someone throws skewers in, and that is just natural that it will poke through. It is a flat top, simple, white. I wouldn't use it to store fabrics due to the very slight scent.

Nice size and seem strong

These bags fit the kitchen can perfectly and are strong enough for all the sharp or wet things we toss in. The price makes them even better - the box of 150 lasted almost ten months. Better than anything from the store.

I needed bags without the draw string for a kitchen can that I bought at IKEA. These have a nice wide opening without any draw string so they fit over the top of my can. They are also nice and thick. Good quality bags! Good price too!

This is my second order of these trash bags. They are fantastic and I love that they are made from at least partly recycled material.

With the cost of EVERYTHING sky rocketing we opted to buy commercial trash bags in bulk. These work well without tearing for our daily household trash. We live in the south so it’s taken out and replaced nightly. I can’t say if they would hold more than what 5 people produce in one day or not. We have put boxes and hard plastic in them frequently with no issue. They do not leak either. I will buy more when we run out.

This is the most eco friendly garbage bag I could find. Not only does it ship in cardboard, but it's made out of recycled plastic. Plastic that already would have been in the landfill. One box lasted us as a family of 3 that moved in our home a year ago, for 10 months. We just purchased our second box. Although they do rip with tons of cat litter, over stuffed, ect, you can't expect it not to when it's a thin plastic garbage bag lol! They are so much cheaper than grocery store bags also!
