I purchased the Dxyiitoo 1080P Projector on Amazon to display a movie/slideshow at a hotel while celebrating an anniversary. The projector offers several connection options, but in this review I’ll focus on the setup method we used and the results we experienced. Setup We created an iMovie and played it from a MacBook Pro. Since my laptop uses USB-C, we connected it using a USB-C to HDMI adapter. From there, we used the included HDMI cable to connect the adapter to the HDMI port on the side of the projector. We projected the image onto a portable 150" foldable projector screen and used the projector’s adjustment controls to fine-tune the image until it was crisp and clear. Because this was an important event, we tested everything in advance. Getting the image perfectly aligned—especially with text—does take a little tweaking, but the projector makes adjustments very easy. It only took a few seconds to dial everything in. With a 150" screen, you’ll need to experiment a bit with projector distance to fill the screen properly. Audio Although the projector has a built-in 3.5mm audio jack, we chose to connect the laptop via Bluetooth to an external speaker. This worked very well for our needs since we were in a large room and wanted broader sound coverage. I did test the projector’s built-in audio, and it worked just fine, but for larger spaces an external speaker is definitely the better option. Video Quality We were all genuinely surprised by how good the image quality was—crystal clear and very impressive. We later set it up at home to watch a sporting event and a movie, and it was a big hit there as well. Other Technical Notes Since this is an LED projector, the bulb doesn’t get hot. Anyone who remembers older projectors knows how hot those bulbs could get—this isn’t an issue here, which also makes it safer for kids to be around. One feature that was slightly less impressive was streaming directly from a smartphone. To do this, the projector needs to be on the same Wi-Fi network as your phone, allowing you to cast content directly. While this did work, we noticed some lag. It wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t perfect. Using a wired connection from a laptop delivered much better results. Overall Value The value is absolutely worth it. The projector is very fairly priced and delivers a lot of performance for the money. I highly recommend it. The main reason we bought this setup was that the hotel wanted to charge nearly $1,500 for a projector, screen, and an on-site AV technician. We purchased both the projector and screen for about one-fifth of that cost—and now we own them. That alone made this purchase an easy decision.

My family loves our projector. It was a great price, easy to set up, sounds geeet and connectivity to our internet was instant. We have friends over and they have all been impressed with the quality of this projector. Highly recommend it to everyone.

A great projector, and very good sound. Just like the big screen at the movie theater. I am showing it on a wall in my living room. It projects 11 feet wide and 7 1/2 feet tall very clear beautiful picture at night,, a little faded during the day if the light is shining on the wall. Definitely worth the price.

This did everything I expected and for a great price. I used it to play a picture slide show from a USB drive for my son's first birthday and it worked perfectly. It's very bright and easy to use. Would highly recommend it!

Easy set up, good value for the money. Functions well, decent color. Took a bit to figure out the streaming capability. Don’t forget the use you HDMI, a must for video to even work.

I lead a science homeschool co-op from my home and needed something to project images for my class of 14. This projector did not disappoint! The set up is easy, the image is clear, even in a well lit room, it is easy to see. I’ve been pleased with that aspect because I was worried the room doesn’t get dark enough, it’s been great! The unit is fairly quiet as well and the remote control is very handy to use as I walk around the room. 5 stars for clarity and ease of use. Great product.

This projector is smaller than my previous projector and significantly quieter. I was able to quickly focus and adjust the display and the connection features all worked perfectly. I use this with a large drop down projection screen aqand it is great for movie watching and sports. I use an Apple TV for streaming services and a PS5 for gaming and I leave these connected to projector. The video quality is exceptional. For me one improvement would be that when you turn the unit on with the remote control that it would by default jump directly to the last input method that I was using or alternatively let me set a default input method that it would start when turned on. I can always use the remote control to quickly switch those times that I was using a different input method. The remote control is easy to use and functional. I have used the bluetooth to pair my iPhone and use screen sharing and this works as expected. I also have a Bluetooth speaker to provide better sound quality if not using headphones. The sound quality directly from the projector is functional but this was not why I purchased this projector. My primary requirements were video quality, multiple HDMI input connections, Bluetooth connectivity and reduced size from my previous projector. This projector checked all the boxes and the reduced operational noise was a bonus as was the carrying case for easy transport and storage. All in all, for me, this was a 5 star purchase and the price made this a great value.

Bought it for cheap quick one time use and it was better than expected! Definitely as with most projectors, better with external speakers but functional on its own inside. Picture quality 7/10 and adjustment relatively easy. Worked well even on a humid kinda foggy night no light issues.

Ehrlich gesagt war ich extrem überrascht. Der Beamer macht für dwn Preis echt super Bild und der Ton ist auch ok. Man kann sogar einen USB Stick mit Video Dateien etc anstecken und abspielen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit. Manchmal ist der Interne Player etwas pingelig mit dem Dateiformat aber mit 720P 1080p und 30fps viedos kam er soweit super zurrecht. Leiser ist er auch und Hitzeprobleme hatte ich garkeine. Auch nach einer Stunde Betrieb wurde er nicht viel mehr wie Handwarm.

Picture quality is amazing, the different connections impressed me, it is easy to connect and use. So many different functions to use. It is all around a great little item that delivers as promised. Firestick was easy to hook up, Bluetooth speakers connected very easily, and the sound is great. Even the projectors speakers are loud and sound very good. Great projector for the price.
